This is one of their better coloring books. The illustrations are amazing and so fun! I had to purchase one for my sister as well. LOVE it. The paper is nice and thick with absolutely no bleed through. Highly recommend.

This coloring book is so freaking beautiful! I love that it's hardcover and spiral bound. It was worth the money spent. There are several beautifully hand drawn images. They are all very unique and beautiful scenery. I have never been more pleased with a coloring book. The different themes/scenes are amazing, some upscale and high quality as well.The paper is good quality; it's more of a harder paper than the standard coloring books. however there is bleeding through the pages if using gel ink pens, alcohol pens, or markers. Bleeding not that bad with gel pens. It won't bleed onto the next coloring page but if you use alcohol pens or markers, it might bleed. Please put down a piece of really thick paper or 2-4 sheets of regular paper to prevent bleeding.I would say this book is more suited for teens and adults because there are many intricate details. An advanced colorist would appreciate this book. I now have a nice coloring book that will keep me entertained and relaxed for several hours.Color It has amazing products! In addition to their books, I have purchased their gel ink pens as well. I love their gel ink pens. I am a bit new to adult coloring books and I appreciate having high-quality gel ink pens. Their gel pens are of high quality.

I am glad ColorIt still publishes their older coloring books such as this one. I am not sure how many times I have purchased this for myself or as a gift. The graphic are wonderful and it contains many scenes that are so nice to calmly color. The paper is the usual heavy duty yet smooth ColorIt paper its thickness duly noted. Its easy to use, plus has a page to rip out so you can use it under what you are coloring to prevent any chance of bleed through. Yet with this weight of paper I have never had any issue, not even when using alcohol markers. While some of these books can get a bit expensive for me personally to purchase often I splurge on these every holiday when I get a gift card or a bit extra money. They are well worth it.

This book is just wonderful with many delightful pictures to color. I'm using gel pens and the paper is excellent for them. I love the spiral top, making it very convenient to color by choosing a page through flip-throughs. Blotter page is a bonus. I almost colored the whole book! The only drawings I did not like that artists usually add are pictures with food; like cupcakes, etc.; pictures with mushrooms, ( what is the big deal with mushrooms); pictures of sea creatures. If all these types of things were left out, I would love it even more!!!

Another winner for ColorIt Coloring Books for Adults. I also like that there is some diversity of scenes to choose from. Some represent lazy day lounging. Others make you want to pick up your binoculars and go birding while others encourage you to pack a picnic basket and invite your friends over. There are lots of birds, butterflies, rabbits, squirrels, cats, dogs, cacti, veggies, flowers, ice cream sundaes and cupcakes that make for a potpourri of coloring options.KUDOS:The construction of this book, alone, makes it a great buy. The spiral binding makes for comfort in coloring. One can turn the book in any direction to make for at ease coloring.The drawings are printed, one per page, on thick, white, smooth paper which is perforated at the top.Gel pens work really well for many of the finely detailed spaces. Markers and brush pens are fun for the wider spaces. Most any media works o.k; however, some colored pencils, especially hard core ones, do not blend really well. Wet markers, gel pens, water color pencils with water brushes leave nice bold colors. The wet brushes over the water color pencils do cause initial puckering of the paper on the back side; however, the paper becomes smooth again when dry. Soft core colored pencils blend well, but some may be easily smeared such as Prismacolor Premier. Most of the smears can be fairly easily removed with a quality fine point eraser.Most illustrations are vertically placed on the page; however, a few are horizontal.Some designs completely fill the page, but others are centered on the page with borderless space surrounding the image.Lines are bold, narrow and well-defined. (.5-1mm in width)Most illustrations have a lot of detail; however, none are especially difficult. The detail makes for a lovely finished work of art.The covers, front and back, are stiff, sturdy cardboard which protects the inside pages. It also allows one to color when a hard surface is not available. Try taking this book to a Drs. Office waiting room and do some lap coloring. Discover the many conversation topics that you may incur!GRUMPS:The cover picture is not included.The animals seem too “little kid” looking to me. I would prefer more detail to their bodies; however, other colorists may appreciate the simplicity.CONCLUSION: I think inexperienced, as well as more advanced, colorists would enjoy this book because there are challenges for both with opportunities to use a variety of coloring tools.

I love this book and it’s in my top 5 favorites. I color as a hobby and use alcohol markers in my pages and this book handles markers very well. The pages are thick quality paper and all images are different and unique. I provided some pictures, one I colored in already and some blank pages, just to give an idea of the kind of art in the book. All the Colorit books have this same thick, smooth, quality paper so if this book isn’t your preferred art style then you can check out the other books ColorIt has to offer as well. The spiral bound is fantastic since it allows you to easily tear out your coloring pages to either color outside of the book, give to someone, or frame. Definitely worth every penny! 10/10 would recommend to beginner and expert colorists.

This was a more expensive color book for me BUT it was well worth it! Beautiful pages and thick paper. I have framed one of my pic already. I am really enjoying these books and hope to add more of them down the line. Hubby says I have to put the breaks on because I have a coloring book habit. ;)
