WELDTITE Cyclo Shimano Hollowtech II Bottom Bracket Tool for Bikes - Durable & Reliable

Used this to replace the rotors on the bike it works well could have a longer handle to clear the spokes but work well enough. Needed a slight tap with a mallet on the rear wheel nut to loosen but appart from that its a good product that fits well.

Sturdy, strong and well made. Does the job and was cheaper than what Halford’s were selling despite being the same product with a different label. As always buying off Amazon made it so much easier too!Used it to remove a factory fitted BB so needed a lot of pressure to remove. No issues.

I also bought a socket type tool but this was well worth buying as well at the price. Especially as it includes the plastic tool for pre tensioning the cranks.

This is much the same as the park tool, but costs nearly half as much.Interestingly this turns out to be a "Weldtite" brand - I'm suprised they don't crow a little more about it.It is well made, pressed from decent tough steel alloy (er... chrome vanadium - i've thrown away the label) and most importantly,It did the job a treat for me. The screw in plastic crank adjuster (which tightens the L crank A-head style) benefits from magnets to stop it falling out - a thoughtful addition.For the ordinary cyclist who only tackles an occasional BB change it should last more or less a lifetime i would have thought. All in all excellent value.

It works. In hindsight I wish I'd bought one of the socket type tools that you use with a wrench or spanner. Then I could have used it with a torque wrench or stuck a breaker bar on it when required. Nothing wrong with this tool, just it might not be the best solution.

Needed to install a new BB, this had it on in about 60 seconds. The little black tightener is magnetic so it doesn't get lost in the tool box. The handle is a good size and weight so I think it wouldn't have a problem removing a seized cup. I would say i would buy again but hopefully this will last quite a while and I won't need to.

The pre-load tool works just fine, but the bottom bracket tool is too big for my xt bb. Won't even touch the sides!

Me basant sur des commentaires élogieux sur cet outil pour changer des disques center lock, je l'ai commandé, mais vite retourné. Les dimensions affichées sur le descriptif sont erronées, il ne fait pas 31 cm de long mais 24 cm, de ce fait le manche en plastique frotte sur le disque et on manque de force quand l'écrou est bloqué. De plus l'œillet est trop lâche pour bien prendre cet écrou de serrage du disque et risque de ripper et ainsi d'être endommagé définitivement . Tout a été fait à l'économie pour avoir un prix concurrentiel.

Encaja a la perfección con el sistema Hollowtech y se ve de buena calidad. El mango, además, tiene una cubierta de goma, lo que favorece el agarre. También tiene una pequeña abertura donde se inserta para guardar todo junto la tuerca de plástico que sujeta la biela. También hay que decir, que lo he usado para desmontar unas bielas con poco uso (más o menos un año) y este tipo de operaciones son problemáticas cuando hay que operar sobre sistemas que llevan montados la tira de años y sin desmontar. Es entonces cuando hay que ejercer verdadera fuerza y cuando se ve si la herramienta es de buena calidad. Pero bueno, en mi caso y para unos engranajes que estaban "blandos", muy bien.

Hace exactamente lo que tiene que hacer, a un precio menor que marcas reconocidas, lo recomiendo.
