Stopped working just after 90 days of occasional use
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: June 2024: This WYBOT does not turn on half the time. When I get it to actually turn on, it constantly gets stuck and has difficulty picking anything up. You can see the state of my pool that this machine is useless for cleaning my pool. I hate that I actually spent $800 on a device that doesn’t work and is now advertised for $200. This machine was the biggest master of money and I need the company to stand by their product warranty.UPDATE May 2024: it stopped working again. Called the support number. Waited on hold. After a few minutes, the number disconnected me. Do yourself a favor: AVOID BUYING THIS PRODUCT.UPDATE: while I did have a lot of issues with the first bot (see below), I did exchange several emails with the company. They tried to problem shoot the issue with me, and when that didn’t work, they sent me a new machine and a shipping label to send the other one back at no charge. The new machine appears to be working well so far, and the company asked me to reach out if I have any further issues. The bot did all right. Charging can be a bit of a pain though, and it stopped working after about 90 days. lights won’t come on and it won’t run. I sent a support request to the company so will update review to see what is done.Update: After numerous emails back and forth, the company has not offered any resolution and I have been without a pool cleaner for months now. My last email to the company was on December 17, 2023, and I’ve received no further reply from them. I would not trust this company.

Cleans fair to poor
If your expectations are that this robot is like most of the home floor vacuums, you'll likely be disappointed. This pool robot is not at all like the home floor vacuums that know very precisely where the are, and what parts of the floor they have covered. This robot doesn't "know", it just follows a pre-programmed pattern. If the robot slips a bit in the water it doesn't know.I bought the cleaner to greatly reduce the amount of pool maintenance I need to do and to replace the pool critter. I does only a fair to poor job of picking up debris from the pool floor. As shown in the picture, it runs right over leaves picking them up sometime, and other times not. It even runs over the same spot and still doesn't get the leaves. Although not shown in the picture it does a great job of climbing the walls. The deep end of my pool is about 9ft and this climbs to the top with no problem. It never slips off the wall. It does a good job of scrubbing the walls for where it goes, but a poor jobs of coverage. It misses many spots. I've tried the different wall cleaning patterns in the app but they all miss a lot.It does really well at picking up very, very fine particles as shown in the picture, however the particles get stuck behind the screen and need to be hosed down to remove them. This doesn't impact its cleaning capabilities at all. After having the robot a few months, the switch sticks. The unit won't turn on unless you bang it on the side to unstick the switch. Very poor quality control for it to fail so soon. The robot is useless without the switch so this should have been tested better. The robot is heavy, I assume due to the battery. It's a trade off since that allows for a more powerful motor (to keep it climbing slopes and walls) and a longer run time. The run time is decent. I haven't timed it but it runs for an hour or two. You have to check on it to know when it has completed since it can't send a signal while under water. (There are many complains in Google Play store about the phone app not communicating while the robot is in the water, but that's just physics. No bluetooth or wifi signal is going to work with water blocking it. That's also why the navigation is inferior to a home floor vacuum. It has no easy means to tell where it is at in the pool)The app is not needed, and that's good since it is really basic. The app allows you to set 1 of 3 patterns for cleaning the walls and 1 of 3 patterns for cleaning the floor. There is another setting the tells the robot to only do the floor or only do the walls.Overall I'm disappointed in my purchase. This robot does not do as good a job cleaning as my pool critter. It does help with cleaning the pool walls better than the critter, but not enough that I don't need to clean them myself. It is also a pain to take the robot out of the pool and charge it all the time vs having the pool critter on a timer and never having to take it out.

Great robot
It works really great. Save me a lot of time.No wire.Powerful.Wall cleanEasy clean.I will check more about battery. Most I charge at night and drop it to the pool, then go to sleep.I wish next Gen will have digital batter percentage that we can see the battery life. From the description, there is digital number display on app for the battery life but I could not find it from the app.

Avoid , switch no longer works, battery life is suspect and it continues to get stuck
Purchased Wybot 1 unit August 15th 2023 and it worked OK. It did struggle with getting stuck on pool drains. Used for 1 month and closed the pool. Opened the pool in April 2024 and the on/off switch no longer worked without having to press it multiple times or open up the box and flip the switch. Once it did come on and was placed in the pool it would either run for 2 hours or it would run about 5 minutes and quit. No lights flashing. I could pull it out of the water and turn it back on and it would run for another 5 to 10 minutes or 2 hours. This all was after letting the cleaner charge overnight with the light being green on the charger when removed. Occasionally the unit would work flawlessly. Running for three hours and picking up an amazing amount of debris. 3 out 7 days I would find the unit out of power stuck on the bottom drains. I didn't purchase the unit to have to baby sit it. Push it off of drain covers when it was stuck or pull out of the pool to restart. I have been working with the Wybot response team but have found no resolution. The software is up to date etc. From reading the other reviews all of the issues I have encountered are known and have been reported with similar resolution.

One month in. Failing? Already?
It worked fine the first time. This is my fourth use. Now it's not cleaning the walls, even though I set it to clean entire pool. It now seems to be unable to climb the slope at the deeper end. So the last two times, I set it to clean the floors only. Last couple of times I had to "help" it by brushing the walls myself. (Yes, I have cleaned the filter and the unit after every use and placed it back on the charger.) Trying it again one last time today. If it still fails to perform as advertised, will return it.
