Glass Strawberry Christmas Ornament with your choice of silver or gold-colored metal parts. A clear 2" diameter glass globe houses one lifelike glass strawberry and five glass leaves that were made by me. The berry is about ½ inch in diameter. To avoid breakage during shipment your ornament will be shipped unassembled, with both parts in free paper gift boxes with gold bows. Assembly instructions will be included in the package. If you choose the silver-colored version, the rings and chain inside the ornament will be Sterling Silver. If you choose the gold-colored version the rings and chain inside will be 14/20 Gold-Filled. The caps of both ornament colors are made of metal foil with silver or gold coloring. This ornament is meant to be a remembrance, memorial or sympathy gift for someone who has suffered a miscarriage or otherwise lost a baby. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS: Please be very careful of the glass rim at the mouth of the sphere. The glass is thin and irregular in shape. Applying pressure to the glass lip could cause it to shatter and create a sharp glass hazard. Do not apply any force to push the pieces inside the sphere. Gravity and a little wiggling and jiggling will allow them to slide through. With the leaves and berries hanging down between them, place your fingers on the outsides of the two spring wires. Squeeze them together until the ends are less than ½ inch apart. Pick up the globe with your other hand. Position the berry above the sphere opening. Using gravity, let the berry slip down through the mouth of the sphere, followed by the point of the lowest leaf, then the point of the next-lowest leaf, etc. If any of the leaves get flipped backward, gently pull the assembly back out and start again. As the ends of the spring wires approach the mouth of the sphere, slip them both inside. After that you can let go of the springs and use your fingers to coax the rest of the leaves down inside.
