SMITH Optics Squad XL Unisex Snow Winter Goggles

They are really nice goggles. They fit well, you have a massive field of vision. For 100 dollars they are an amazing deal for anyone not looking to break the bank on super expensive goggles. That being said the mechanism to change lenses is pure torture. Its ridiculous hard to get the goggles into position. It took me about 15 minuets to figure it out. Iv gotten it down to about 5 minuets now but its quite the hassle. If you don't want to muscle these lense in and out every time your in different conditions I would recommend a different pair.

I’m completely and thoroughly impressed. I’ve never actually been so happy with an order to write a review, but here it goes. These goggles have exceeded all expectations. Yes the Smith Squad XL is a fantastic goggle, but I mean THESE goggles from THIS dealer in particular. 70$, let me explain to you what you receive for that money, because it isn’t really expressed properly in the product description. In the Cody Townsend signature model you receive not just one low light chroma-pop lense (shown in the stick photos), but also a jet black highlight chroma-pop lense as well. These lenses are not cheap, they are dual glass, and amazingly easy to change (just don’t be afraid to break the goggle, you won’t). You ALSO receive a hard-shell signature case with compartments for two additional lenses, venting for drying after in the case, and a microfiber case with a secondary lense compartment as well. The coloring is much better in person, (think timberland boot) and the red Smith logo found on the strap is only found on one side, on the other side you can find a tan leather triangle with Cody’s Bear logo on it. On regular models you receive no hard case, and only one chroma-pop lense with one non-chroma-pop lense, and the soft case. I’m thoroughly impressed and am convinced this is the most bang for your buck goggle on Amazon. I may just order another. An absolute steal.

My son loves to ski and asked for a pair of Smiths over Oakley. I bought these as a gift. They cam with two lenses. It is not the easiest to change the lense but I great feature. He loves the goggles. Says they are better than his Oakleys.

No fog even during the blizzard. The power glasses were a bomb.The other lens for bluebird days was good as well. Not so much light filtering but I care more about the fog, which never happened. Love shredding in these.

I love the Squad XL goggles. I know the trend is towards large bubble lenses but these are large enough to give good visibility but avoids the scratches and moisture that seems to always be on my X2's. The only reason these aren't 5 stars is because swapping the lenses is difficult and always feels like they'll break at the corners. The colors are really good for visibility and the Storm Rose is awesome in flat light.

I replaced the smaller Squad goggles with these. It fits perfect with my Smith Maze helmet and offers a better field of view. I would give 5 stars, but I had some minor fogging issues on a really cold, stormy day. May have been user error on my part, never had a problem with my previous pair. The Storm Rose second lens is nice too.

La maschera è bella, comoda per chi ha la faccia grande. Il sistema di cambio lenti per nulla facile, bisogna fare molta forza e a lungo andare temo che le lenti soffrano. Purtroppo la lente di ricambio per le condizioni di poca visibilità presentava un difetto di produzione quindi ho dovuto effettuare il reso. Direi ottima maschera per chi non ha continua necessità di alternale le lenti.

Great googles.. Good comfortable fit with or without helmet. Nice to have the two lenses withone for sunny conditions and one for flat light.... but a bit tough to change and no clear directions. However I found a good video on Youtube.

Superb, the red lens is great for every day use and looks really good too. I decided on the xl version rather than the normal as I always feel a little claustrophobic in goggles but these are so easy to wear and peripheral vision is excellent. I matched these with a smith Camber helmet and the fit was brilliant, no gap at all and no fogging up either. Don't hesitate to get these if you want a comfortable fit and great performance.
