Quality System
Very impressive, the experience is immersive. The appearance of the product matches well with television & gaming consoles. The entertaining aspect of dolby atmos is a forfilling experience. Ive had many systems in the late 90's & early 2000's. They never sounded this clear or this loud, even the google speakers we have in every room doesn't match the sound of these little speakers. I strategically placed speakers in the places they needed to go & placed the woofer underneath my wingback silver fox chair. So soon as I fire up my smart tv & started watching netflicks my whole theater experience was somehow magnified. The sound was soo good. I started watching ppv fights, football games. You could hear everything from multiple directions as if you were at the games. Even the gaming experience really had me "tweaking" because you can hear every detail. All the background noises you wouldn't here through an aiwa, sony, cerwin vega from the late nineties. These little speakers produce an uncanny & magnified frequency. Ive never heard anything this loud or clear in my history of dealing with audio, besides my truck. The whole package is incredible. This company was really on the money to deliver an astounding audio experience. Every movie & Everygame will have you feeling like your inside the movie or gaming world. They should of put a warning on the box because the sounds you hear from this equipment is mind blowing. Your dolby atmos experience will be as close to theater without question. Jus make sure you place speakers where they need to be & learn the presets. Get a feel for the preset equalizer, bass, surround presets. I never liked presets in my audio equipment. I love having full spectrum control. With this setup, I must say they have every setting tuned to perfection! This is perfect for small & medium rooms.

Review from an Audiophile stepping down from a $6000 Denon setup
Let's get one thing straight: At less than $200, this entire Ultimea system costs less than *ONE* REAR SURROUND SPEAKER from my old 7.1 setup. Does it sound as good as my Denon receiver with full-size speakers and 12" subwoofer? Not even close. But that would be like comparing a bicycle to a Ferrari. You have to review the bicycle for *what it is*, not complain that it won't do 180mph on the highway. So, with that context, FOR THE PRICE, this Ultimea system is solid. It's immersive, sounds decent from your primary sitting position, and features crystal-clear dialogue. If you're stepping up from TV speakers, it's a bazillion times better. I would liken it to a decent car stereo system -- that's what it reminds me of in overall sound. About on par with my Cadillac DTS in terms of overall sound. "Good enough," but not OMG WOW INCREDIBLE. I just don't think you're going to get "OMG" sound from anything approaching this price point, so I wasn't expecting that. The sounds this produces are good enough and faithful enough to be enjoyable. What more can you ask for sub-$200?No, it's not going to sound like a concert hall the way a 4000 watt system can -- to me, this seems self-evident, and the people expecting a $180 system to do that are just living in a bizarre fantasy world and need to adjust their expectations to align with reality. If you want room-filling sound with perfect frequency response and house-shaking bass, then invest in a $6000 system and then you can complain if THAT still doesn't work.Bottom line, for what I paid, I'm happy with it. The only way I could imagine it sounding better is if it cost way more money. A good purchase, in my book.p.s.- the "crackling" referenced by another reviewer is usually due to wireless interference (the rear sub/surround setup is wireless) from a router or similar, as opposed to being an actual problem with the system. Try moving your router a few feet away and see if that resolves it.

Ordered two - one was defective
I purchased one of these originally and had so many issues with USPS dropping the ball, they sent a second one free of charge as a courtesy. Once I finally got the original and hooked it up it was such a great high definition sound for the price, I planned to keep the second one for my bedroom rather than return it.Unfortunately, the second one was nothing like the first in terms of quality. Everything seemed to be working fine but there was hardly any sound until turned up 3-4x the level needed on the other. I thought maybe my older TV/HDMI cord was the culprit however after switching the TVs and systems one clearly had a defect. Ultimea was very responsive and helpful, confirming there was some kind of issue with an amplifier or other component that prevented the subwoofer and surround speakers from performing properly. If I didn't have the second system to compare it to, I would never have known it wasn't functioning and would have assumed it was low quality which is not the case. The other reviews are pretty hit and miss so I'm wondering if manufacturing defects are common with this product and am posting this review to say this; if you are not satisfied with the quality of the sound considering the price it may very well be a power issue like I had because this system is fantastic for under $200. I'm not an audiophile but I do appreciate quality audio. Having purchased several 5.1 systems in this price range previously, I can confidently say this one is far better than any of my previous systems. I was grinning ear to ear listening to music and watching UHD shows and movies and wouldn't think anyone would be dissatisfied with the quality for under $200 UNLESS they too received a defective system which is concerning given how common these defects seem to be with this particular company. With that said, my interactions with Ultimea were all very positive - quick responses and very good customer service. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for some significant sound upgrade for a low price - if yours works properly that is. One way to know if yours is working as it should is by flipping through the three EQ presets (movie, dialogue, music). There is a very noticeable difference between the three settings on the one that functions correctly, whereas the defective one sounded the same on all three EQ settings and required a volume level of 40-60 to sound as loud as the other one did at 15-20.To summarize I would recommend trying this product despite the seemingly high level of defects simply due to how great Ultimea's customer service is. Hopefully they can get the quality control issues handled but if you use the above paragraph as a guideline for how it should perform you should be able to tell if you got a good one or not. Worth the potential inconvenience to return/replace given the quality and price. Probably few systems out there that will perform better at this price point!
