Item is as described
This CAT6 shielded cable is exactly as described in the listing although I will offer I'm not sure why they chose the wording "shielded connectors" ... the entire cable has a shield, both braided and foil. Cable is thick, but reasonably supple for CAT cable. Outer jacket is not what I would call heavy duty. It is easily damaged by anything sharp or jagged so keep that in mind for you application.

Better than expected.
It gets the electrons from A to B.

Terrible Connector!
Absolutely terrible connector! Got stuck in my Ethercon snake box and ruined it. Cannot get it out and have to trash the cable and the box. Stay away from this terrible connector!

Ends are inconsistent.
I have used another brand of this type of cable to connect two digital stage boxes just fine and this particular cable does NOT fit those same stage boxes. If I take the barrel off (rendering the entire cable pointless as it is meant to be secured to a stage box using ETHERCON connections) then the CAT connector fits. I simply wanted a shorter cable for one of the rack mounted boxes but instead I’m stuck still using a 30’ cable in a rack mounted piece of gear. Bizarre scenario.
