At the time of this writing, there is almost an equal number of 5 and 1 star reviews. This review will split the difference, for now…Before I even purchased this weather station, I had contacted customer support regarding mounting options and included accessories as some other stations require more effort and extra equipment. I received a reply within two days with a full explanation. Based on the answer, I opted to buy it.Initial impressions were fantastic. All elements were packed nicely. The manual is written very well and goes through all the steps in logical order. The station screen is just the right size, easy to comprehend, and has levels of dimness to adjust to your needs. The outdoor sensor unit is well-built and includes a mounting pole and bracket that is easily adjustable for amazing accuracy. No additional poles or accessories are needed unless your specific setup calls for them.Now, I’d like to continue writing positive things, but I can’t because this is where the major flaw presented itself (and likely the reason for the 1 star reviews). No matter how many attempts I tried at pairing the outdoor unit to the station, it never did. I followed the manual by holding down the channel button, pressed the resets, performed a full reset, searched for a potential firmware patch, etc. After 2 hours of getting nowhere, I figured this was a faulty unit and stopped assembly.Being able to pair the components is obviously crucial and shouldn’t be something to be defective right out of the box. Therefore, I question the reliability of the manufacturer. Something like this *should* be resolved with a firmware patch, but until then, it’s tough to recommend this weather station. I would suggest checking for later reviews or the LFF site for any information about this and if they are able to supply a patch, then it certainly would be worth another attempt. Until then, if you decide to purchase, you may have an experience like mine.Now it’s up to LFF technical support to make it right. If they can, then this can be a contender.

Installation manual is a bit unclear, but was easy to setup and install. They tell you how to connect to the wifi but not what you need to check or do first.The monitor needs to be plugged in and not on battery power for the wifi to work. Also register on the apps before setting up the wifi connection, otherwise you will be going back and forth.The weather station has been running for 4 days now and works great so far, love the data i can get from it.Definitely good value for the money.

Weather display is easy to use and has more available to view than I may use. It connects to Wunderground which I had never used. My son set this up for me and said setup was straight forward. The packing was amazing - everything was nicely packed in spaces just for those items. Reminded me of how Apple packs their products. I had a different weather station for 13 years and last year it just stopped being even close to accurate and the spiders loved it. This is attractive inside and outside. The inside display is not extremely bright so that it lights up a room at night, it is just right. I just ordered another one for a family member.

Nothing special just a weather station.

I bought this as an upgrade for my son. I waited for his birthday to give it to him, which brought me past the date I could return it. All I wanted was a working weather station. This had the wind direction not working properly and the rain gauge wasn’t working. I’ve contacted LFF 2x now and got the same thing both times; silence. I guess this is going to be a loss for me and a bigger loss for my son. Very disappointed with a company that does not stand behind their products. What a shame. I DO NOT recommend this to anyone.
