The handle is not very long and this net is not going to clear sludge from the pond! It’s extremely light and my guess is will easily break But if you need a net to skim the surface of a small pond, clear duckweed and leaves then it’s worth consideration.

Works well, good size and shape.

Quite small, fragile looking pond net with short pole handle. Only useful for removing algae or small leafy debris from around edge of pond because pole is so short.

Great for clearing out leaves, debris from pond. Mesh is fine enough to capture small debris and helping to keep pond clean.

It is so small that it doesn’t reach halfway across the pond . Shame really its a nice net, but just so small.

I have a small sunken pond in an old ammo metal box lined with butyl. This net is shallow and a very fine mesh which is perfect for any debris on the surface. It is very comfortable in the hand and a good length.

You could have got 40 such nets in this box - crazy waste of materials, especially as it appears to have done a tour of Europe before being delivered.

Works well to get the string algae and bits out easily.
