Happy Customer
I just got this bow and I love it! I'll upgrade the accessories but I just enjoy shooting it! Purchased the X7 and have the X9 in the family! I would recommend this bow or any one salinda compound bows. Feels great, solid structure and simple to get started. I'm new to archery and you tube can teach you a lot about this bow! Two thumbs up

Great product overall, very high value considering its price.
The bow itself is great, it comes with everything ready to hunt. It is designed to be used for hunting despite can also be a great option target shooters.Pros:1. High quality bow, comes with the string attached so you don't need a bow press and contains all the basic attachments to use2. Easy to tune, comes with a manual and there is many videos in YouTube to teach you how to tune. The only hard part is adjusting the draw length. Explained later. Most part you can tune and adjust your bow by your own easily after some tutorial other than peep sight that you may need a bow press and don't have issues with being not serviceable as you can do everything yourself other than peep sight that is serviceable.3. Very affordable and very high value that is significantly cheaper compared to other brands products at similar quality4. Nice appearance5. Very smooth releaseCons:1. Arrows are not good, I suggest to get new ones as many user have experienced problems with it.2. In rare cases user reported problems with the manufacturing defects. I didn't experience that.3. The attachment are mid-low quality. If really need to improve accuracy you may need to upgrade them (mainly for experts, if you are beginner or intermediate shooting less than a year I suggest you focus more about improving on human errors rather than upgrading accessories). Since using the accessories that it comes with is still perfectly fine unless you are competing or an professional in target shooting, etc. Remember if you are competing, make sure to choose fixed pin because it don't comes with adjustable sight, stabilizers, and magnifiers like an target shooting compound does, unless you have upgraded the attached accessories.5. Some people might find hard to adjust the draw length. Compared to other bows is still much better but there are still room for improvements. To adjust the draw length you have to loosen the back screw of the cam, then unscrew and change the screw position based on numbered indicator to adjust your draw weight and screw it.6. There are pink coloring on screws not sure what those are after shooting for few days. But for now, it still works perfectly fine. (Probably it is corrosion since I leave it overnight at a very humid environment)

Did not meet expectation
I was truly excited to get my hands on the Ready to Hunt Compound Bow Package, hoping it would elevate my archery game. However, my experience with this product has been nothing short of disappointing. From the moment I unboxed it, I noticed that the quality felt cheap and not at all what I expected for the price. The bow itself seemed flimsy, and after just a few test shots, I quickly realized that it lacked the accuracy and precision I was hoping for. As an avid archer, I understand that consistency is key, and this bow simply didn’t deliver. It left me frustrated and questioning my choice to invest in this package. Moreover, the included accessories felt like an afterthought. The sight was poorly calibrated from the start, making it incredibly difficult to hit the target even at close range. The arrow rest also seemed poorly constructed; I experienced constant issues with my arrows bouncing off instead of smoothly launching into flight. These problems not only impacted my performance but made me dread going out to practice. In the end, I found myself regretting my purchase and felt let down by a product that promised so much. I hoped for a reliable, ready-to-hunt setup, but instead, I got a bow that’s collecting dust in my garage. If you're serious about archery, I recommend looking elsewhere for quality and performance.

Great starter, good service
Honestly I was surprised at how easy it was to set this bow up. I’m new to archery and looking to hunt in the fall. At a 29” draw it doesn’t pull 70#, I’m pulling at about 63-65#. The only real issue was a common one with the whisper biscuit and the arrow fletching length. That’s where Sanlidas service excelled, they immediately sent me a new biscuit and when that still wasn’t quite right they sent me a dozen arrows with shorter fletchings. I was so impressed with that I bought an x7 for my wife and son who also like shooting. I’m sure I’ll upgrade components as I progress but this is a great way to get into the sport.

My First Compound Bow
The reason I bought the Dragon X9 is because when I was at my local archery range shooting my recurve bow a man next to me was shooting his brand new Dragon X8 compound bow. I was very impressed by its accuracy, and it's lack of noise. I spoke with the man, and he let me try firing it. It's draw was very smooth and vibration free. I asked him how much the bow cost him. I was expecting to hear something like $1,200 because that's what they were charging for compound bows to begin with at my local shop. When he said less than $300, I knew I had to buy one! Unfortunately, I've only been able to shoot my X9 once so far. But, I am definitely impressed so far with its ease of assembly and ease of adjustment. The only small negative thing is when I received my bow it still shipped with the original arrows with the long 4" fletchings which do not properly fit the X9. But, when I wrote to Sanlida, their customer service got back to me in a day, and are shipping me the proper arrows for free! And, I didn't even have to ship back my old arrows! That is some truly excellent customer service! I just wish more companies would be like that!
