This is a great water bottle. At first, I thought the flip top lid would be hard to use but I find I love it. The bottle is easy to hold, easy to fill, and keeps water cold for several hours. It fits in my backpack nicely. I'm drinking more water now that I have this bottle.

I purchased a S'well water bottle several years ago and it worked well. I wasn't the primary user of it, but had enough experience to appreciate its value and functionality. My Yeti bottles outperformed it, though, so I stuck with and have continued to use them daily. The color of this new bottle is what first grabbed my attention. I liked the dark black / Onyx color, and had a bag that needed a more narrow water bottle than my 18 oz Yeti Rambler. Upon arrival, I was very impressed with the actual color, which while close to the picture on the internet, it looks so much better in person. Next, I love the textured coating on the bottle! It is soft and velvety-like, yet very tactile and slip resistant. The bottle fits perfectly in my newest crossbody pack, and the dark color blends right in. I haven't had any issues with it slipping or falling out, which speaks to the quality of both the bag and the bottle. The cap is a new design for me that I am not sold on, yet. It is better than having to deal with a straw, and more convenient than having to unscrew a bottle top, but the mechanics and water output are still taking some getting used to. I like that I don'[t have to worry about my ice sliding out and choking me, but I feel like it takes me longer to get the same amount of water out as with my Yeti's. I was also concerned that the top would get bumped all the time and pressed in so that I had water constantly leaking me, but it hasn't occurred a single time so far. Finally, although it holds just 17 oz, it does a phenomenal job at keeping the liquids ice cold, even when I have been outside in the heat for many hours. The bottle itself does not seem to heat up, and the contents inside stay icy and cold. I am very impressed with this new S'well bottle, and I never thought I would say that. For the times when I just need the smaller volume of water, this will be my 'go-to', but for the times when I need more water, I will stick with my Yeti's of various larger sizes. I give this bottle a two thumbs up and highly recommend it!

My 2nd one, tried a different lid this time and it doesn't not work well. The water leaks out of the top when you're taking a sip.

This bottle is very nice for grabbing a quick drink and heading out the door. It is small and compact, easy to carry, and easily stows away in a backpack. It does't hold a lot of water, but works great for short trips.It might be nice if there was some kind of handle on it.

I got this S'well Stainless Steel Water Bottle in Geode Rose. It is a really pretty pink, lavender and white pattern. There is a seam where it comes together on the back, but it isn't too noticeable (see photo).This is my first time drinking out of this type of bottle, and it took me a few sips to get used to the sports cap. It's fairly easy to drink out of but not the easiest. I like how secure it is when it closes and how simple the design is. It keeps my hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold.The only minor issues I have with this are: 1) I found it a little tricky to pour coffee in from my coffee pot since the opening is narrow. But, it's easy to fill with water from my fridge water dispenser. 2) It needs to be hand washed and can't be put in the dishwasher.Overall, I like this pretty stainless steel bottle and think the pros outweigh the cons.

I love S’well stainless steel water bottles..they last for years and years and they are easy to clean and the designs are beautiful. I got this one as the new sports cap seemed ideal for using during workouts or bike rides without the need to completely remove the lid (like on most of the S’well bottles). The sports lid works great and it is super easy to drink from the bottle (until it gets closed to finished, then you do have to hold the bottle almost upside down to get the last bit out). The lid when closed does not leak, which is always a concern on any lid that opens like this. Definitely a home run for S’well in terms of usability, function and form! Highly recommend to other bikers or hikers for using while on the move!

I had a swell a few years ago and I liked almost everything about it but the lid, if I wanted to take a drink I had to unscrew it, and who has time for that so when I saw their new lid I figured I would give them another chance. It arrived packaged just fine with no defects that I could see. Getting it out you get the bottle and the flipper lid. The bottle was as good as they always are, it does say to handwash so that can be a little tough with how it's shaped but a bottle brush got right in there to get it clean. The lid is the star as now instead of having to unscrew it you just flip it open to take a drink then flip it back to close it. I turned it upside down with water in it and not a drop spilled. All in all, I love what they have done with the lid.

I wanted a water bottle that wasn't overly large for my carry-on bag or my tote. easy to refill.
