BUY IT!!! We did research, looked at reviews, comfort, good value, etc and this mattress is so high rated everywhere, winning rating awards! Our T&N Mint (king) mattress was comfortable from the first day!! There’s no “breaking in period”. There’s great side support on the edges too for when you sit on the edge of the bed. I just don’t feel like I’m sitting on the edge of a foam mattress. It’s not something that looks like sinking memory foam with body outline. It exceeded expectations!! It’s easy to set up, we just watched the short video to make it even easier. Seriously, it’s so easy, five minutes. The T&N tag should face the bottom of your bed. I don’t sleep hot on this mattress either, just always comfortable. I’m a side sleeper and I prefer softer beds, my husband sleeps on his back and prefers firmer beds. We both love it! It’s a fantastic value, looks great, wonderful cover on it. The cover helps with more cool sleep and is antimicrobial too! You sleep at a comfortable temp. It’s a pretty mattress. We had it delivered to our front door, (remember to put this in “delivery instructions” area) but there are many different delivery options, even with prime. (I don’t want people inside.) Just know the box is heavy, but has handle holes, easy size. (Check what delivery/set up works for you.) My husband and son got the box upstairs quickly. We bought it during Amazon Prime Days and saved even more. (We bought a new T&N Mint Mattress for our son too!) We ordered these after seeing our daughter’s T&N Original Mattress. I sat on the edge of her bed and it passed the test, so I was sold!! It’s THE most comfortable bed!!!!! You won’t regret buying it!! We’re really happy with our purchases!

Biggest reason I wanted to write a review here is to let people know to give the mattress at least 2 weeks to break in, and for your body to adjust to it.The first 3 nights or so I was regretting my purchase and disappointed, thinking I’d most likely have to return this bed. But I found the little pamphlet that comes in the box that I had not seen initially where Tuft & Needle recommend giving it at least 2 weeks for your body to adjust. So I thought yea might as well give it some time.Quite literally within 2 weeks I was getting better sleep and enjoying the feel of the mattress much more. And with each night honestly it’s gotten better and better as my body is getting used to the mattress and the mattress breaks in more.It’s definitely on the firmer side, so note that. BUT there is a softness there as well that forms very nicely to my body. I’m growing to appreciate the support of the firmness mixed with the subtle softness that cradles me. I am a female at 5’4 height and 120 lbs. My partner is 6 ft and about 210 lbs.For my partner, he loved the bed from the first night he slept on it / he adjusted very quickly. For me since I’m lighter I needed time for my body to weigh into the bed more so I can feel that soft middle layer supporting me. I actually had him sleep on my side a few nights to break the bed in faster!It was most difficult to adjust to sleeping on my back. This mattress works well for side sleepers. Both my partner and I are combination / back and side sleepers. I sometimes lie on my stomach too.I think overall this bed is great for couples, and for a foam mattress, the edge support is awesome / it doesn’t feel like you’re gonna fall off when laying on the very edge, even for my partner who is a pretty big guy.I’m really liking the bed now though and am happy with my purchase/ will not be returning! :)

We bought this in Full size, to use in our Guest room with a new 14" high bed frame from another source. It was our first "mattress-in-a-box" but not our first high quality memory foam mattress. We selected the Tuft and Needle "Mint" model based on a fresh Consumer Reports rating plus on-line reviews at several sites.PRO: Very soft and comfortable top surface, yet great body support. Effectively isolates movement...no bounce or shake. Excellent perimeter support so you can sleep right next to the edge without any sag or tendency to roll off. Minimal odor when first unpacked. (Watch the manufacturer's video of that easy process, before opening.) We actually like this one better than our existing, high-end memory foam mattress costing about twice as much.CON: It would be very helpful if the rolled-up mattress had a sticker on the wrap indicating the direction it would unroll, because you can't tell. As the last of the "grip" wrapping was removed it became apparent we had it in the wrong direction to unroll and, due to the final "vacuum" bag over the mattress not being well sealed, it started to expand before we could move it. No big deal, but easily prevented by an arrow on the outer wrap.FYI: Full expansion can take a couple of days, perhaps more. Although you can sleep on it the same day, the firmness is still changing and one or more corners may look a bit sagged. Just be aware of that and have patience for the birthing process to run its course. Also, the weight is near the limit for UPS delivery and the mattress was left in our driveway instead of up on the covered porch. The same thing happened later when the bed frame was delivered. In both cases UPS had put a "sorry we missed you" sticker on the box, even though we were home and would have gladly helped to carry the box up a few steps. Just be aware that may happen to you as well. There's no danger of the mattress getting wet but, due to cost, it's a tempting target for theft and you don't want it unnecessarily exposed because of sloppy UPS service.
