This was really "meh" jerky. It was slightly sweet and it has MSG, although it does not give me a headache like other things with MSG. Maybe they source properly isolated MSG. It was also strangely oily.Despite these things, the taste is good, although I think I prefer People's Choice Old Fashioned Beef Jerky (also on https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0176REM9E).

If you're sensitive to MSG, look for another product. In addition to being a "flavor enhancer", MSG also is a trigger for you to eat more.

Not as good as used to and a lot less

OK overall, but salty and too smoky.

If you like your jerky like dried pieces of steak....If you like your jerky savory and not candy sweet.....This is for you.....Its not soft and chewy, but like dried pieces of beef with little moisture.Still tender enough, probably because its cut perpendicular to the grain.Seems a little salty, at 280mg per ounce, but could be because it does not have an overpowering sugar/fruit flavor.At $30/15oz its worth it to me, especially since it has a low moisture content....moisture=water=weight.

Tastes ok. Way too salty. Can't eat but one or two small strips at a time.

This absolutely the best beef jerky. It’s the only one I buy. Convenience store jerky is mass produced processed meet, not the real stuff. Hombre is quality, and tastes great. Try it and you will probably agree.

had fungus on it. ate some of it before i saw it had fungus on it. never ordering again.
