Trade the Momentum - Forex Trading System (Technical analysis)

I purchased this book along with FOLLOW PRICE ACTION TRENDS-FOREX TRADING SYSTEM. While they both are very good books, I only gave it 3 stars because the first 60 (sixty) pages of both books are the exact same pages verbatim. The books are less than 100 pages. The font size is large and unfortunately the charts are small. I wish it was the other way around. I actually bought three "different" books. The information is very valuable and its plain to see that you don't need a 300 page book to explain the strategies however I don't appreciate 60 pages of the same thing in both books.

I love this little book. It is, like most other reviewers report, clean, clear, uncluttered, to the point..The rules are very easy to grasp, even by a beginning trader. There are no specialindicators you have to buy, nothing is hidden. An experienced trader can readthis book quickly and start using the method the next day. There's no complicatedbar counting or patterns to memorize, the indicators are simple to use and minimal.It all makes good sense, the charts that are provided are clean and uncluttered..I have already recommended this book to two friends who trade Forex, and Iam going to test this method on other markets as well. Well Done Mr. Damir !

The author discusses in detail a momentum trading system using familiar technical analysis techniques. He uses weekly chart to identify momentum, 4 hour chart to identify trade setups, and 15 minute chart to enter the trade. Exact entry is identified. The rules are presented clearly. More importantly, he also identifies when not to trade. I can trade with his rules the way it is! I will be testing this simple yet powerful system. Mr. Damir is a talented writer. He presents a complicated subject with simplicity and clarity. His examples are well chosen and fully illustrate his rules. He helps me consolidate what I've learned about trading and gives me a good trading system to use. I highly recommend this, as well as all of his other trading books. A great starter is his book "50 pips a Day Forex Strategy" in which he gives an overview of the Forex market and discuses money management rules. I find that very helpful also. Thanks, Mr. Damir, for sharing your knowledge.

The books definitely a good book but the author published a similar book in 2012 and nothing has changed other than the example. I emailed him before purchasing the newer version of the book which is this book and its the same strategy just different charts.He said there’s new techniques. Good strategy tho!

This was a well-written and easy to follow along book. I love how the author based the strategy off of two of the most important elements when trading: momentum and trading in line with the trend. I will definitely be incorporating this with my current strategy. I've already marked up a couple of charts and I'm excited to see how they turn out. Thanks, Mr. Damir for sharing! 😉

To be honest, I am still reading the book, but I ordered this book, "Trade the Price Action-Forex Trading System", and "Follow Price Action Trends-Forex Trading System and paid for each of them. On the inside, they are identical books.

Great Book! This book was very good information for forex traders. I would recommend this book for anyone looking to trade forex!

Hi Sir Damir,I am new to forex trading and have been learning the past 2 months - reading books, looking at charts, listening to trading podcasts (I hope Chat with Traders would interview you someday) and youtube, doing the demo accounts, etc. Though I could say that have learned so much in the past couple of months, I could say I've learned so much more the past few days reading your books.I stumbled on your "50 Pips a Day" strategy kindle book and found it to be very logical. So I bought your books one by one and read it, until I ended up buying and reading all of it in a span of 3 days. Each time I read a book, I discover something new and not just a concept  but the whole strategy itself.I've heard one trader from a podcast who once said "there is always something happening in the market", and in deed it is true. But the thing is most do not know how to take advantage of what is happening. With all those strategies at my disposal, I think I could trade at all types of market (trending or ranging) and at high and low time frames and approach it at different angles.I'm currently in the process of back testing the strategies this week.Thank you!!!! Brilliant. Mr Damir is a very accomplished trader. I have traded for some ten years, and used every sort of indicator and system. But I have come back to realising that simple is best, and the only real way to success is to focus on Price Action and Support/Resistance. These are the only indicators that are actually real ! If you combine that with recognition of certain simple Candlestick patterns, you can't really go wrong.I have bought all of Mr Damir's books, and they are fantastic value for money, and most of all, they work. Forget wasting time looking for clever, complex systems. This is all you need.And to those who criticise his use of the English language,I've got to take issue with your reviews. Its unfair. I consider myself an academic, and I'm pretty picky about clear and concise English. You might almost call me pedantic. Mr Damir is clearly not a native English speaker, but I've had no problem reading any of his books, or indeed understanding anything he has written. I have traded for ten years, and understand the concepts involved very easily, yet I don't think I have an unfair advantage. He writes clearly and concisely, and nothing he has written is difficult to understand. I have no connection with Mr Damir, other than being very impressed with his simple, yet effective trading systems.

There is nothing particularly exciting in here or any of Laurentiu Damir's books, no claims of a holy grail or short cut, and no indicators with complex names (or in fact any indicators except MAs) or promises of riches, so anyone looking for that mirage should go somewhere else - there is in each book a simple self-contained system that can be practiced immediately.Each system uses the same building blocks - specifically, ways to spot shifts in the distributions of buyers/sellers using candles; places at which to look for action (hor and diag S/R and Fib levels); and how you can determine momentum (using the price action on two or more time frames and the Moving Averages) so as to only trade in this direction and therefore maximise the chances of a profitable trade.They are all excellent, and even though my trading system is already remarkably similar to these, I learned some new things and have many new suggestions to think about. Highly recommended.

A must read if you wish to learn how to identify the“momentum” and learn a, step by step, well and yet simple explained trading strategy which, through multiple examples and precious advises, will show you how to use this information in order to set up trades with high likelihood of success. I will definitely test this strategy.

A good strategy I will be using as you can see that it will work and it only covers a few major pairs so it can be looked at and planned out in 10mins. I did try it today but the parameters were not met so no issue. I am hoping the PDF version will have better definition on the chart examples for printing so one can carryout quick referencing.

Fake reviews as writing reviews are encouraged in the book by offering other free books, be aware! Poor strategy which happens once every year if you're lucky and keep watching the markets every day.
