Good preacher also.. My first book I bought Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire, made me want more. So I also bought " Fresh Faith" and Fresh Power. They are page turners!He also wrote 2 excellent books about prayer, which I bought too!He's different. I have read the first book more than once.

Pastor Cymbala's book "Fresh Faith" is an outstanding volume on REAL faith..."shoe leather" faith in the real world with real life examples of God's Power to move in the lives of people looking to Him for answers to everyday problems, addictions and challenges. I think every believer, pastor and pew person should digest this work....The just shall live by faith...this book has inspired me to take a fresh look at my faith walk and to adjust it from 'striving' to 'surrender'...As a Pastor of a small church in a rural community I endeavor to walk by faith and not by sight ....Thank you Jim Cymbala....Jim Neal, Shafter, CA.

Wow ! What a refreshing book

Great reading

Wonderful book. I initially began reading this for a book club and have really enjoyed it. So much of what he writes about applies to my life. This book really made me examine my faith and want to deepen it, and to build a closer relationship with God. I highly recommend-- and our book club is moving on to another one of his book's.

I enjoy all of Jims Cymbolas books.

If you are looking to build your faith, renew your faith, or want to know what faith is.....read this book! I have since purchased different books written by Jim Cymbala and I am so inspired. His knowledge of God is incredible! May we all desire this knowledge...For those wanting a closer walk with God....loving Jesus and the Holy Spirit....

Excellent book

This book is great and definitely ignited me! I first read my friend's hard copy version and loved the book so much that I had to buy my own. A definite must have in my opinion.

A good teaching book with some good anecdotes but lacks the impact of the first book. Still a good read and I would recommend it.
