Available in even number increments and various link size/widths. Show Chains are available in 3 Link Styles: Serpentine (aka Snake), Jeweler (aka Curb or Curve), and Flat Jeweler (aka Flat Curb or Flat Curve).Serpentine Show Chain is ideal for Dogs who have been trained to not pull on lead. For lead training, use our Jeweler Show Chain or Flat Jeweler Show Chain. View all images to compare link size and width to determine which width is appropriate for your use.Choose Size: Use a soft measuring tape to determine 2 measurements: First, measure around the widest part of the dog’s head from under the chin and over the skull. Second, measure the dog's neck where the Chain will be positioned for Show (high on neck and under the ears.) Add 1 to 2 inches to the largest measurement to ensure that you can slip the collar over the dog's head. If desired, add additional inches for your Lead attachment. Choose Chain Size according to the Chain Section measurement.Size 22: The Chain Section between the Slip Rings: 22.5 inches. Over-all length including the Slip Rings: 24.5 inches. Choose desired Chain Size according to the Chain Section measurement. All measurements are approximate.Prior to first use, rinse Show Chain in warm water and lay flat on towel to air dry. Always clean your Show Chain after each use to remove body oil and dander to prevent fur discoloration.

Turns my dogs neck black
I like the style and strength and looks of this chain but if you dog has a white collar then this chain will turn it gray looking like it is dirty. The chain is of poor quality . This chain should not make my dogs neck turn almost black.. If your animal has a dark coat it probably won't matter too much.I really like this chain except for the metal is of poor quality.

Show Chain is well worth the money
I have shown dogs for about 25 yrs and these are as good as any of the show chains you can buy at the dog shows. I love this chain... personally I like the 2.5 mm better just because it is a bit heavier and if you show larger breeds it gives you a little extra security if the dog happens to pull. The 2.0mm are great for training pups. Believe me I have now ordered 4 in different sizes and they are worth the money.

Beautiful collar!
I was hesitant to buy this collar based on some of the reviews but I am so glad that I did. I purchased the 2.0 mm 20" Serpentine Snake dog show chain collar. I am beyond pleased with it. I am currently showing a 6 month old Gordon setter puppy. This is a little big but it won't be for long. It's heavy enough that he knows it's there, I'm able to give the small corrections that I need without worrying about the chain holding up. It is classy enough for AKC shows. I paired it with a Resco show lead for a simple, classy and elegant look that disappears against the dog. The packaging was simple and effective with handwritten instructions from the seller about washing the collar prior to use. I plan on buying another one (can't have too many, never know when someone else will need to borrow one at a show).

Beautiful snake choke!
The last time I saw a snake like this was at a dog show, some 30 years ago, from a vendor selling German snake chokes! This is a top quality snake, and I love it! ....just as I did the beautiful snake choke of 30 years ago. This is not appropriate for a 6 month old, untrained, 150 lb Great Dane pup!! They will break! ....but if your dog is trained, and you want to be able to deliver a lightening fast, medium force, correction, this is the chain for you. The vendor's , packing, and timely delivery, and courtesy thank you note are a bonus!!

Good Quality
Use it to walk my Catahoula/Border Collie (40+lbs) mix. I like using these types of chains as they release much faster than the large link chains. The size was as ordered.

As expected
I have a dog with a short, smooth coat and anxiety. After trying a few types of collars our dog trainer recommended the loop chain style- the thinner the better. The thinnest one Petco had worked well, but would sometimes snag her coat when she got a correction, and the clacking noise of it frightened her. This chain is the thinnest I could find, and she hasn't been reacting to it at all, which is the point. Good stuff!

Great Chain
I wrote a review on the other sizes in this chain and I do know and have used many different chains but these are one of the best.... love these chains and I should know since I have shown for about 25 yrs.... Good luck

Pretty choker for dogs
I like it has I wanted a shoker that was not heavy. My Pit Bull has arthritis and I wanted someothing super light. It is strong for its thinness. I will never go back to thick shokers ever again. Plus its prettier.
