Very comfortable and good price
Wear them every day which is over 100k steps a week. The toe box could be a smidgen wider but other than that no complaints

best allround barefoot shoe
I love these shoes so much I bought a pair for work and a play/excercise pair. They fit perfect, decent toe box, zero drop and they do give you a barefoot feel on trails and comfy on pavement. Im new to the barefoot scene so they do make my feet a little sore at work cause im concrete all day so I got a pair of lems which have a thicker sole just for work. But for trails and exercise these are my go to's

Outstandingly comfortable and all-around shoe
I have the previous version of this shoe as well. Both run small in size. Get a 1/2 size bigger than you normally would. The HFS II is very different from the original. Do *NOT* think this is an upgraded or improved or better shoe than the original. It's night and day. The original is an outstanding BAREFOOT running shoe with a very thin sole through which your feet can actually feel the surface of the ground. I love running in those shoes but they are tiresome walking around in all day for hiking or city walking. The opposite is true with the HFS II. The sole is clearly stiffer, possibly slightly thicker too. It's an awesome shoe for the whole day for minor hiking, city walking, going to work or going out. It's also dressy enough to use for social events. But for running, it's a big NO for me because there's no barefoot feel to them. IMO...

Solid but not true to size
These are the running shoes and the come a bit narrow and not true-to-size. I wear a size 14 and have wide feet. These seems to be a narrower fit through the arch and toe box.

Good starter minimalist shoes
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I'm just starting to get into minimalist running shoes these are great, they feel really light on my feet, but are also not so extreme that it kills my feet. would definitely recommend for someone thinking about getting into minimalist shoes

Sizing is poor.
I have several pairs of Xero shoes all the same size. These run small. They felt fine walking around the house. It wasn’t until about an hour of intense physical activity that I started to feel they were too small. Now that I’ve worn them I can’t return them. Taking out the insole didn’t help either.

Exactly what I was looking for
I'm about 5 runs in and I'm loving these. Exactly what I wanted. A couple of tips that are hopefully helpful for others.1. I would not advise that these be your first foray into minimal shoes. There is no cushioning or motion control at all. It's kind of like the soles of you feet got really tough and slip resistant. Suggest you start with an Altar until you get used to zero drop (unless you're willing to be very patient).2. If you use a runner's ankle cinch and/or double knots (who doesn't?), you're going to want some longer laces. I could just barely make it even after skipping the eyelets closest to the toes (my normal practice). A couple of bucks for some 50" laces and problem solved.
