These caught my eye because of the cute sheep design, then because they were wool not plastic so hopefully would not make the loud banging in the machine. Yes they do look as cute as the picture and they are great value because you get 6 sheep a bag. They smell of wool so not unpleasant but not perfumed. I washed mine before using and put them in with towels on the first wash just in case they left bits of lint.I need not have worried they did not. They do seem to speed up the drying time and keep creases out so I can fold most of the washing,now the only thing I need to iron are shirts. I'm not sure the clothes are softer but they are not static.You also don't need to use all 6 sheep I find two seem to be doing the job.

I've used dryer balls previously and wasn't overly impressed - I didn't think they seemed to do anything. But these are completely different:1. they are larger (bigger than tennis balls), very dense, and they do hold their form/shape when used.2. they do make the washing softer (I'm assuming it will be due to lanolin)3. they do speed up the drying... and they have cute sheep faces! What more could you ask? I love them.

They really make a difference to washing from the dryer. No static and softer.The one thing we don't like is that they tend to leave white fibres on dark clothes

I adore this flock of sheep. They cheer me up whenever I open the tumble dryer. They help reduce drying time and really soften the towels beautifully. They slowly disintegrate over time and do need replacing, which will depend on usage. They also create a bit more lint than usual but definitely worth it. I highly recommend.P.s. the sheep love hiding in legs and arms of garments and really snuggle into corners of pillow cases and duvet covers.

Work fine but about 8-10 loads in and 2 of the 6 sheep fell off. Might as well save a few bucks and get the ones without

These come in a cute drawstring bag that i repurposed as the balls just stay in the dryer all the time. I place all 6 in the drum?? I'm not convinced it reduced drying time. I always do a extra spin in the washing machine and then tumble dry. I tired putting in on 225 drying time to see if these make a difference which it seemingly didn't. I had to put it back to 250. I don't have an in between. I do put essential oils on them and the clothes smell wonderful. This does mark them though but not the clothes. The quality of these are lovely and no issues so far. These are soft so no extra noise. I think it does help to stop clothes being static. I will continue to use them for the reasons said. They are a good size.
