Much brighter than the original incandescent bulb. I was going to sell my old 6-cell MAGLITE but decided to try this LED. Works great but can't at this early stage judge the longevity.

I think that the bulb light source is too far from the base. I have to unscrew the focusing part of the Maglite to a point where I taped it in place so that I get a good light pattern. Without doing that the light is a bright ring with a dark area in the center (I guess because the center gets the direct light from the LED and the rest of the LED light reflects off the ...reflector). So I have a VERY BRIGHT flashlight on a Maglite that I can't focus ...but that's not the end of the world.

This my main light when I scuba in wrecks, caverns or go for a night dive.I was tiered of the old bulb and his yellow low light. I fits perfect and works fine.It a difference between day and night.

Noticed that my sturdy old Maglight, running on three D cells, was still working but it’s incandescent bulb paled in comparison to all the other LED lights that I had. This bulb fit perfectly and even without changing the batteries the beam is remarkably stronger.

Was actually getting ready to toss Maglite, had bought a LED Streamlite and could see difference in brightness, glad I bought this LED replacement bulb. Fit right in place and twice as bright.

I replaced incandescent bulb in a 3 D cell Maglight . No problem with the hold down retaining nut. The hole in the conventional bulb retainer nut is larger than the hole in the xenon bulb light which explains why some people have to drill out the retainer nut on xenon equipped lights. Am very pleased with the increased brightness in fact the 3 D cell light is brighter than a 6 D cell Maglight with xenon bulb. I intend to buy another bulb to put into the 6 cell light.
