LOVE GRAFTING TREES
Good if you are a tree surgeon. Bad if you're a mohel.

I was leery, but no need to be
I’ve never used anything like this when grafting. I’m old school, a knife and a little practice is all that’s needed. That said, this looked too good (cool) to pass up, so I had to try. I’ve done several grafts with this on my avocados, peaches, and lemon trees. I’m still amazed at how well it works, how perfectly fit the grafts are, and my success rate is well above 90%. Seems very durable too, not a hint of having to change the blade. At sub $20, you can’t go wrong.

Beginner Grafter
I am just a beginner grafter, so this tool helped me make the jump into grafting on my apple trees. The tool makes an easy cut, but the fitted pieces can be a little wobbly and the limb cambium layers didn't stay aligned when applying the grafting tape. 2 of 4 grafts have failed so far. I am trying some alternative techniques.

Handy tool
First off I’ve never grafted anything. For being inexperienced the tool worked surprisingly well. I was skeptical from other reviews. The tape was horrible. Buy different tape. There is a slight learning curve to it, but practice on a few pieces you won’t need. Overall I’d buy it again. 4 stars because of the horrible tape.
