Great value!
As an old-school gamer, it kinds of saddens me that D&D and other games have all but abandoned hexes in favor of square grids for everything. I used it to draw a map of an island with a tiefling vampire's castle on it, then laid it out over our regular wet-erase battle mat for the players to use. As they explored the island, they filled in the terrain type in each hex. It worked out really well, and for the old-school gamers at our table, they enjoyed having the hexes.I do with the paper was thinner (it's about as thick as wrapping paper) but with the thinner paper I don't feel as bad throwing it away once it gets written on. I also have the square grid paper. Both are nice to map stuff out ahead of time, rather than struggling with the map with the players present. I also used it for Traveller to make star ship deck plans.
