I think I've personally sold a dozen of these to friends and family because I can't stop raving about it. I've owned so many water bottles, and always end up hating them, even if I thought they were ok to start with. Either they made the water taste metallic or plastic, or didn't keep it warm, or were hard to fill and clean, or were hard to carry around, or all of the above. This water bottle has NONE of those problems. It keeps water cold for HOURS, and leaves ZERO aftertaste. I put electrolytes in my water, and it doesn't change the taste of that mixture either. The design of this is ingenious too -- the flip lid makes it so easy to fill, and the way the straw is situated, locked into the lid, makes it function better over time, no bending or moving around. Every part of this comes out for cleaning too, which is great. The lock prevents spills when I'm on the go too. Finally, the little handle makes it SO easy to carry along on my walks, attach to my luggage with a carabiner clip, or pick up with a couple of fingers -- why don't all water bottles have this? I bought TWO, one in each size!NOTE: The larger size does not fit in a car cup holder, in case this matters to you, but it is the best size for those who want to drink water all day at their desk or school. It's the one I use daily, and I use the smaller one when traveling.

I bought this for my son as an upgrade as he outgrowing his smaller thermos he had for many years. I love the overall attention to the product design - from ease of cleaning, hygiene, and accessability; you can tell a lot of thought went into it. It doesn't have a lot of sealed or unecessary parts to it so it's very easy to access all parts of the lid to clean (this is something I always look for as I am concerned with mold growing in parts I can't clean/access). I love that the drinking spout has a cover that locks. It's also a silicone drinking spout so it won't degrade or get "rough" over time like some plastic spouts. You don't have to unscrew the lid to refill and you can easily flip the lid to refill your bottle. It has a handle you so can carry it around or attach it to a carbiner clip to your bag. The quality is nice and it feels like it would last a long time. I would definitely get more in the future.

I love this water bottle. I decided to get a closable water bottle after constantly knocking over my tumbler, or attempting to transport it in my purse/backpack and spilling everywhere. I specially love the option to fill without unscrewing a cap. It was so tedious to have to twist off and on a lid (first world problem, I guess). I like that I can lock the lid closed during transport too, it prevents any spilling on my bag. I chose a plain beige/off white/cream color and think it looks really classy. I guess the only downside is there are already a few scratch marks, but I’ve had enough tumblers to know it’s going to get scratched a little. I did find a 32oz bottle boot/bumper and that seemed to prevent additional scratches on the bottom. Ice retention is decent too. Would recommended!

I love this waterbottle!I used to have a Stanley, but I wanted something more secure and easy to hold wiht the rest of my work stuff. I got this one, becuase it had the easy fill, sip and chug, and was narrow enough to fit in my cupholder.It's pretty easy to clean, which is great. There's no plastic smell to it, and I just love the design in general. I tend to drop my bottles sometimes and th lid will pop open, but that hasn't happened with this one. I've very happy!

I will preface this review with the fact that I am a water bottle/tumbler fiend. I own multiple bottles from a variety of brands including Stanley, Simple Modern, Yeti, Owala, and while they all have their own functionality. I find myself gravitating to this water bottle this most. I like to keep this bottle in my bed for when I get thirsty at night and with the cap and straw, I never have to worry about it leaking. The lock function is also a great addition as I still have yet to experience any leaking and I don’t anticipate that I will. What sold me on this Ello bottle was that it has a cap for the straw portion. However, I hate the fact that the mouth piece touches the top of the cap, and for that, I have to drop a star. I also don’t use this out and about because it doesn’t fit in my car’s cup holder. The loop does help me carry it with ease around the house! Oh, and my water stays cold for a decent amount of time!

Received a day earlier than expected, that was nice. So far I have to say this is my absolute perfect water bottle. I don't like a straw or a bunch of extra parts. This one came with a straw but it's not necessary so I don't use it. I love the soft-touch spout and the locking lid, and appreciate that I don't have to remove the lid to refill it. I find I can easily drink 2 of these full bottles per day which is 64 ounces toward my water for the day. This has been an absolute win so far.

I've had many water bottles over the years, including 5 top brands, and this is by far my favorite. I have bought 2 different types from Ello, and love them each in their own way. The original style I had gotten, my only complaint was getting the straw to sit right and not detach to where you couldn't pull water up it....but with the easy fill, problem solved. The straw sits stationary.

I think it’s a pretty good water bottle overall, I like that it has a chug option so I can let my friends use that, as I have a major issue with people putting their mouth where I put my mouth when drinking or eating anything 😭 This item came wayyyy late though which annoyed me A LOT as I’d paid the extra $11 to have it arrive earlier,. It arrived like 5 days later than the day It was supposed to arrive which sucked a lot. Came with an indent and the tiniest scratch which was slightly annoying but oh well. Has a straw and chug option, and an unlock and lock button slider thing as well
