Feed back issues.
The only negative I have is the feed back I'm experiencing while adjusting the volume level.

Definitely LIGHT Duty Speaker
The first time I switched it on, it was a blare of SCREEEEEECH! Apparently it had been shipped with the volume turned all the way up! But I get ahead of myself. Let's start at the beginning. When I first spotted this here on Amazon, I thought it might be a great thing to have, as I am often doing public events. I'm not only a DJ by trade, but often participate in protests, do outdoor festival type events and speaking engagements. Having a straight out voice amplifying speaker sounded logical, PLUS it can play your USB flash drives and TFT cards. Bonus! When it arrived, though, suffice it to say that it's much smaller than I'd imagined. Scratching my head, I mused that maybe this is one of those "superspeakers" with the ability to sound louder and deeper than it physically should be able to do. (I have a few. Some from right here on the 'zon!) Voice amplification seems to be its primary focus, given the pocket clip on the back (which immediately fell off - I had to pop it back into place) and the shoulder/neck strap. I'm almost afraid to use that, because it clips to two loops on the back of the speaker...made of PLASTIC. I wouldn't want to do too much jumping around with this on my neck! The best part of it, though, is the hands-free mic that plugs into the top of the unit. This was when the SCREEEEECH happened. It seems to me that some sort of feedback circuitry should be incorporated into this thing if it's going to amplify my voice louder than I can shout. Moving outside and staying away from walls and glass helps a bit, but not a lot. Another irksome thing: it sounds tinny. I jacked-in my favorite '80s New Wave music flash drive and gave it a listen, thinking that maybe the mic was the weak link. Um....no. It's the speaker. It sounds a lot like the first transistor radios we carried around in the 1960s. While it DOES seem to have some decent bass(ish) response, the harsh mid/high totally eclipses it. I think it would sound its best inside a coat pocket. All other aspects aside, that's my main issue with this speaker: it sounds harsh. It could be fun mounted inside of a costume for an interesting vocal distortion effect? I may use it if I have a near-field type of situation in a public park or town square, and then, only to capture attention. For listening to music, though, I think I'll stick with Alexa.

Crap
Totally waste of money

Excellent assist for bad acoustics
This is handy for teaching in a large gymnasium where sound bounces everywhere . Just enough of a boost that I no longer need to repeat myself. Good value. Recommended.

High portability due to small size. Unfortunately, it has small sound too.
This is a small, lightweight personal amplification device. It is convenient to use and easy to carry. Unfortunately, the sound quality is terrible and its light weight seems to be due to a pretty shoddy build. This would probably be okay for use in a classroom setting, but one would be better off in larger venues or outdoors simply elevating their natural voice. I will continue to look for better options.

Wired Headset (wish that was in the title)
Works great for teaching group fitness classes so I don't have to raise my voice or project for long periods of time. It was my error, but thought it was wireless so I was disappointed that you are tethered to the speaker through the headset. The other ones I have used are wireless so I can leave the speaker in place and walk around the room. Still, that was my error. So, other than that it works as expected.

This Voice Amp is so neat!!
This voice amplifier is so neat!!I've used other voice amplifiers before, but this one is very small! But despite the smaller size, it puts out comparable and even under some situations better sound! This is small and can easily be carried by the crossbody strap that is included or by the clip on the back of the unit! This is rechargeable so no need to worry about buying copious amounts of batteries or being tethered to a power to a power source such as a large battery or even an outlet! This voice amp lasts between 4 to 5 hours with one full charge. And that is constantly using it, not just using it sporadically!I have found this to be extremely useful when trying to get my voice to carry without having to yell or speak in a way that puts strain on my vocal chords! The only downside I have come across is the user manual. It is completely useless. What few lines in the whole manual that are in English don't really make much sense.Eventhough the booklet is useless; the system is very easy to work and the ports are clearly labeled. This comes with:--The mini Speaker Unit--Microphone Headset--Long crossbody strap--USB Power cordIt supports a Micro SD card, and a USB/Flash Drive memory card.Eventhough I found the user manual to be a flop; everything else is excellent and I would still recommend this mini voice amplifier!!
