Tuff belt
I use this belt at the Fire Staion. I clip keys and knives to the belt it holds up great.

Eventually developed some wavy bits, but would still buy again
I love belts that use methods other than traditional holes to stay tight. I have thin hips and the difference between one hole and the next often means my pants are almost falling off!Anyway, the ratchet on this works well. The belt looked great when it arrived, but after a while (three years) I noticed that the belt developed wavy bits where the outer leather sheath sort of stretched while the inner core (not sure what it's made of) did not stretch. It's not a good look now.Still, for the price, I'll like buy another.

Ole George's favorite belt!
I hate wearing clothes, but society deems it necessary and with good reason. I dress for comfort and a belt is one of the most uncomfortable things to wear as it doesn't adjust as you set, move or eat. That's why I like this belt no more punching holes to try, find best fit then deal with it the rest of the day. This belt has big or small adjustments that can be made by pushing a button. Perfect for setting or overeating on a thanksgiving.

Great product
I love this product and now have three of them. I love the ratchet action and being able to change how tight it is on the fly.

Can't Beat a Good Ratchet Belt
A while back, I saw an advertisement for a ratchet belt on TV. I thought the idea was ingenious, as I had struggled with traditional belts that make it difficult to find a comfortable loop hole to use and tend to deform quickly. Both problems were solved by the ratchet belt. It's very comfortable, looks good, and keeps its shape better than other belts. If you haven't used a ratchet belt before, be aware that they work a little differently. When you get it, the first thing that you're going to have to do it cut it. This isn't a big deal, and you can do it with a pair of scissors and a measuring tape, but it did throw me off at first. However, a guide is included with the belt that will let you know what length you need to cut it to and the whole process should only take a minute or two.Secondly, because of the way they work, ratchet belts are not double-sided. I had gotten spoiled by my old belts that were brown on one side and blank on the other, meaning I could wear the same belt with both my casual (brown) and dress (black) shoes. However, because the catch for the ratchet system is attached to the inside of the belt, the outside is the only side that can be visible while wearing. Also, the buckle can be a little tough to set into place (the locking mechanism requires some strength to set); I ended up having to stand to it to get it set. But you only have to do that once; when it's done, you've got yourself a great belt. That said, being able to select the perfect fit for my belt has been a lifesaver, and I'll never to back to a traditional loop hole belt if I can help it. I highly recommend this belt.

EazyBelt vs Slidebelt
I would buy this belt again over the Slidebelt simply because of the price. I paid $13 for this belt with $3 shipping. The slide belt now costs about double that. When I purchased my slide belt, I believe the cost was around $20, but now I think Slidebelt is charging much more. The quality of the EazyBelt is very good, but not quite as good as the Slidebelt. I work in the financial industry and must look professional. I think that ether belt gives me the same appearance of professionalism. I really like the buckle mechanism on the Slidebelt much better than the EazyBelt, and the quality feels a "little" more solid. If you don't have a Slidebelt to compare with, this belt will feel like a great quality belt.I have had the Slidebelt for about 2 years and the EazyBelt for about 5 months. Both belts look as new as the day I purchased them. I was purchasing new "older style" belts about every 4 months from wear and tear, so I will probably never buy the old style buckle again since these last so long. Conclusion: I will buy an EazyBelt again over the Slidebelt, because of the price. Also, I really like the width of the EazyBelt more than the Slidebelt. The Slidebelt seems too narrow. I contacted the Slidebelt company to see if they are planning on making wider style belts, to which they replied, "we have no future plans to change the style of our belts." I kind of feel like the Slidebelt is "old-man-ish" the way it looks so narrow through the slacks/kahkis belt loops, but that is my opinion. I think the EazyBelt is just the right width, which is another reason I would buy the EazyBelt over the Slidebelt.I hope this rambling review helps someone make a better decision on which belt to purchase.

I waited 8 months to write this review
As stated, I waited 8 months to write this review. I wanted to see how the belt held up over everyday long term use.I'm a restaurant/bar manager who works about 60 hours a week. I'm pretty hard on my belts and very slender (30w). In addition, belts are always either too big or too small, due to my 130 lbs and crazy fast metabolism fluctuating daily (my weight fluctuates from 128-136 depending on exercise and diet). THIS BELT IS PERFECT FOR ME! I can adjust how tight I want it to fit based on my weight for the day and what kind of shirt I'm wearing. This belt is comfortable and ensures my pants stay up with a tucked in shirt, which ultimately keeps my shirts tucked in better because of that and prevents that stupid bulge a lot of tucked in shirts have by your naval. It is truly the best design I have seen in a men's belt. Also, It looks fantastic! My belt's metal is minimally scratched after 8 months of hard use (I used to replace my belts every 8-12 months because they looked beat up at that time) and the leather on my belt is damn near perfect. In addition, it still serves it's function perfectly of keeping my pants where I want them. I went with black/silver combination and am about to order one in brown as I type this. For anyone looking for the best and most affordable men's belt in regards to perfect fit and look, this belt is it! I seldom write reviews unless I think a product is truly remarkable, and this belt has me as a lifetime customer.Thank you!
