Board is great, especially the lines that help when completing the boarder. The cover is difficult to get on and make it stay on - of anyone knows an easy way let me know!!

Let me start by saying I really wanted to like this! I love a good 1000+ piece jigsaw, and it's always a challenge in a busy house to find time and space for them.Previously I've used the roll-up storage boards which are soft fabric which rolls around a wide cardboard tube to avoid damaging the jigsaw pieces. Well they do get bent - it's not ideal - and it's a faff to do each time.This is a sturdy board and designed to fold in half. Not with the jigsaw on it, unless you're splitting the jigsaw or it's small enough to fit on half!And there's a cover, designed to slip on top and be secured with velcro, so the jigsaw is safe and clean. The photo showing it being stashed under the sofa in between uses makes some sense.It comes with 8 sorting trays which are actually pretty handy. It takes only a moment to assemble them with the pop-buttons and squidge the soft felty fabric into a square shape.But the downsides.- The surface material is really rough. Maybe that's by design so pieces don't slide around, but it's too much. I often need to slide sections of partially completed jigsaw into place, and that's nigh on impossible with this. I just don't like the feel of the rough fabric either.- The cover doesn't work. It has 'pouches' at each corner, so the only way to hook all four corners on is to bend the board. Not ideal when covered with jigsaw pieces! And it's a really faff to secure all 6 velcro flaps around the board. I don't see me ever using the board.- it's not actually very flat! It's rigid enough to lift it carefully to move it, which is good, but when you put it down there's a big curve to the base.All in all I think this is better than nothing for doing jigsaws, but it could be so much more. And at current list price of just under £31 I think this is poor value for money in my opinion.

Excellent quality easy to move around and store when in use - under the settee. Happy I chose that size as pieces can also be kept around the sides of the board.
