Decent quality material and excellent for swimming/surfing etc.Provides decent sun protection and the sides can be let down by untying them.I recommend you size down though as they seem to run slightly large.

This is a great rash vest if you’re looking for something a bit different from the plain tight fitting T-shirt style. You can choose how much or little you want to pull up the sides & the ruching is very good if you are self conscious of not having the flattest of stomachs. If you leave the sides completely down, the vest is long enough to cover your swimsuit/bikini bottoms.I haven’t tried the vest in water or full sun, so I can’t comment on how effective the spf factor is, but the fabric is quite thick and close weave so I imagine it will give good protection from the sun.I’m a solid uk size 12, which is what I ordered, however I could have definitely sized down for a snug but not too tight fit.

I'm delighted with this top, and it feels sexier to wear than I expected - a nice bonus for a sunscreen garment that could easily have been dull. The nylon/Spandex mix is very soft and silky against the skin, and it's accurately sized. The generous length is a great feature, and if you're short enough in the body (I'm not) it could even be worn as a very short dress - just.I absolute love the adjustable hem detail, which works by cinching up the sides and re-tying the pair of cords on either side. It can make the top rather sexy and flattering. I've not been swimming in it yet, but in the interests of a thorough review I did wear it into the shower, and happily it doesn't cling like cotton, nor does it make me look I've entered a Miss Wet Teeshirt competition! It also dries pretty quickly afterwards, exactly as claimed.As well as saving me from damage by UV, which is an important health consideration, the other benefit of tops like this is protection from jellyfish. I've been stung a couple of times when swimming on holiday, and it can feel like being electrocuted! They can be very small and hard to spot, and even hair-thin strands of tentacle can float around by themselves without the rest of the creature attached. They can hurt too!I'll definitely be taking this top on my next sunny holiday (here's hoping!) I chose the red colour, which is slightly more orange looking than the listing, but very attractive and slightly 60's retro, which I like. Vibrant colours work best in very sunny places, and subtle ones tend to look washed-out. So even though the other colours on offer are attractive, I think the red is most practical, considering the conditions the top is likely to be worn in. That said, it's attractive enough for me to wear it whatever the weather.This is good value, nicely designed, and well made. I also think it's good value for money, so a full five stars it is then.
