Now I Eat My ABC's

I have an almost 4 and almost 2 year old. I bought this book after reading about it on a homeschool pre-school blog. My kids love this book and it's helped my almost 2 year learn to say some new words. The idea was to do a letter a week and have the food for that letter. We haven't done that, but the kids still enjoy it. I am a little disappointed with "X-tra cheese", but I don't have any better ideas, either.

Pam Abrams was the Editor of CHILD magazine when I won a writing contest and was a guest editor in 1999. She was so genuine. Love this simple but beautiful little book with the colors and words.

My 19 month old loves this book.. and my 3 year old likes it too! Its actually pretty awesome because my 3 year old will walk my 19 month old through it.. it's one of the few things they enjoy doing together 😁

I was looking for an ABC's book that had realistic pitures in it that the kids could identify from objects around the house. This book worked out great. They already eat most of the foods pictured and if they didn't recognize it, it was a good way to introduce that food. I would recommend this book.

My children learned the alphabet with this book! They requested to read it everyday. What child is not interested in food? This even got my child to try a few new foods from the book!

My son received this book as a gift. Surprisingly, he learned his whole alphabet from it. He loved all the colorful pictures. It got left out in the rain and ruined so I had to order him another one. One day I asked him if he knew his abc's. He recited all of them! I had never even sang the ABC song with him yet! He knew them from this book at not even 2 years old!

My son loves this book! It's cute how he associates the food now with letters!

We first saw this book from the library and checked it out. It is one of our favorite books, so we had to buy it. It is a fun book to read with your kiddos. :)
