Natural Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 3 oz: Natural Tallow & Zinc Oxide, Reef Safe, Water Resistant, Fragrance-Free, Non-Greasy Formula for Face and Body

I have tried EVERYTHING in regard to sunscreen that doesn't burn my eyes. My eyes are super sensitive to smell, and they burn, sting and get blurry when I wear most everything. I always avoid my eye area, but it doesn't make a difference (if it's on my nose, it's too close). I can't tell you how much research and money I've spent trying different products.Sky and Sol does the trick. It's not perfect, but I can wear it without my eyes burning. As with any mineral sunscreen, it's very hard to remove. I use Jojoba Oil and a mild cleanser, wash off with very warm water, and repeat with the cleanser. It's very expensive, so I only use it on my face and use a makeup sponge to apply. It does look a bit chalky at first but disappears quickly.

I really appreciate a safe sun screen and I’ve used this brand for over a year now. I have found that if I leave a bottle outside (in the heat) the consistency of it can be a bit thick and it won’t absorb as well. I figure this is a user error though, so it doesn’t deter me. I do try to remember to keep it stored in the house, though. Under normal circumstances, I find that it does absorb into your skin so that you don’t show a white film on your skin. I really appreciate the safe ingredients; that’s the most important factor for me.

This brand strives to make sunscreen so natural, you could eat it. I didn't taste it and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to, but it's nice to know the ingredients are edible-grade.But more importantly, I like the sunscreen. Most mineral sunscreens don't spread well and leave you with a white cast that is reminiscent of a kabuki mask. This one spreads better than most and the cast fades pretty quickly. It also doesn't pill under makeup, which is great.

Love this sunscreen and will definitely be buying again. I looked at many different reviews before buying and am really happy with it. Not oily and my face didn’t breakout from it. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the Sky and Sol website said this particular bottle could last up to an estimated 75 uses (depending on how much you use and how often you use it of course) and it says it’s for face AND body. I would definitely recommend a larger bottle for body sunscreen and use this little bottle for your face. It’s not enough at all for very many uses for your body coverage and is misleading in my opinion, but I would say 75 uses for your face is accurate. I used it for my body just once and feel like I wasted so much of it for how expensive it is and it’s already almost gone.

Shocked by how much I love this sunscreen. I have eczema and sensitive skin…as do my children. Until I tried this, the only sunscreen I could find on the market that didn’t make me break out in a rash was SuperGoop! Although it is better than some sunscreens you get on the market, it still had a lot of ingredients. Then I got a targeted ad for this sunscreen so many times I finally pulled the trigger for our Disney trip! No one had an eczema flare. We wore it in the pool and in intense heat. Not a single sunburn all week and I don’t even feel like we were that diligent about reapplying! I thought it would smell weird and give me the ick…but it had no smell at all and although a thicker texture, went on completely translucent. No white residue or any residue for that matter. I was shocked! HIGHLY recommend this sunscreen. Now I need a bigger bottle!

We used this in AZ and Ut and it works so well. We didnt burn at all. There is a little whiteness to it but that doesn't bother me when it's protecting my skin. It doesn't have a mask to the sunscreen usual smell but it's not bad smelling. We used it 8 days in a row for three people and we have half a bottle left.

I just barely received my order 2 days ago and used it twice. About a dime size each time for my face and neck. I was able to shine a light through from the back of the bottle and it appears it’s only half full of the sunscreen. I paid more for this sunscreen than any sunscreen in my life and only get half of the product. I am really disappointed in this experience of wanting to try a more natural sunscreen and from a company who is raved about thinking I made a good purchase then getting gypped by the seller in the amount of product I get. I have another of their products I wanted to buy but may change my mind if I pay more money for that product and only get half the product. The convenience of sky and sol thru Amazon was most exciting because I am very cautious of websites storing my info and selling it which I know amazon does but the less websites I have to purchase from the better. So I am hoping (fingers crossed) this is a one off thing and sky and sol doesn’t deliberately charge good money for their product and then give the customer less than what they paid for. I am hoping this sunscreen really works for my sky because my skin breaks out with mineral sunscreen and I don’t want to use the chemical based kind. Sorry for the long rant. Just sad at the experience.

Formula has changed slightly. Last time I ordered this it was sold in metal tubes. The lotion absorbed instantly on my skin and had zero stickiness. The new one I just got in the plastic tube just isn’t the same. It’s slightly sticky on my skin and doesn’t absorb as easily. I will still gladly use this product because of its clean ingredients and daily sun protection, but wish the formula was like my first purchase
