I like that there is source code available for controlling the table, and by using that and the documentation, it is easy enough for a programmer to write software to control the table over the USB-serial connection. The only thing it is missing from much more expensive tables is a way to query the current angle, but with some careful use of control software it appears one can emulate this easily enough.

The product is as expected. Easy to use and perfect for the purpose.

1 star, feels like a child's toy. As another reviewer put it early 90s China electronics. No software included, you have to go to their website to download it (Chinese, cross your fingers you get the right file) I downloaded 3 files before I got the right 2, one "turntable.exe.gif" but windows wouldn't open it so I renamed the file extension removing the gif so its an exe file and windows detected harmful the other was the driver. I do say if you do photography it might be useful for you. I got it to do 3D scanning as it said in the Amazon ad it can be used for that.... NOPE!

Does the job. Computer app was a surprise and increase the functionality greatly.

We have problems staying connected to the device via Wi-Fi. It constantly disconnects and you have to re-launch the software. Not able to find the software in the app store for Apple and can't find it for the Android. When it works it's very good but it only works part of the time which is bad.

Documentation is 0, literally almost no documentation at all.Website on Chinese!!! Really?;;; Even if you select English....that sucks. You guys can spend just few days to make website user friendly if you are selling worldwide. What I needed to download was not clear.Also, confusing information regarding shoot signal - it is NOT in that model. Can solved by using time-lapse in camera.Overall amazing idea, but realization is like flash back from 1990th of Chinese products....Disappointing.

Bought it for a usage presumably different from the one the device was conceived for: produce polar plots of audio devices in lab environment.The turntable is easy to control via command scripts. It connects easily via WiFi and commands can be sent out through any Telnet client. Command automation is possible in many ways (e.g. with Telnet Scripting Tool), taking benefit from real bi-directional communication with the unit.The connection is also possible via USB, through serial interface with 115200 baud rate.The documentation is more than enough for developers: OK, the translation was not made for sure by a native ENglish speaker, but it is understandable.I have only some concerns that the unit really withstands the 20kg it is claimed for. From the documentation I got to know that the Manufacturer produces basically the same device in different sizes, up to 60cm diamter with 120kg capability.I'd definitely buy it again, maybe in one of the bigger sizes.I wish the Vendor could widen up the range of products available on Amazon. Currently this is the only model controllable in remote.

no "Turntableplus" APP in IOS Iphone app store. Desktop download controller works but product claims to have an APP but doesn't exist can't download from ios Iphone app store
