I like that this castile soap lathers, and it is thicker than other brands of castile soap.

I purchased this with the intention of just using it as a foot wash for hubby's diabetic feet. However, my husband and I liked how it left our skin, we ended up using it as a full body wash, and now is all we use. The tea tree oil scent is present but it disappears once your skin is dry. We didn't particularly care for it as a shampoo, because while tea tree oil is good for your ski/scalp it's not particularly great on hair (however, Dr. Wood's peppermint Castile soap weeks excellent on my hair and is my go-to for that). It will not let lather as much as the average commercial body wash, but you soon adjust to it and realize that you're just as clean and your skin is healthier without all the chemicals. I know that castile soap can be used for other things, but the Dr. Wood's products IMHO are better for skin and hair; not as effective as others for things such as laundry, or household cleaning. But as a natural, anti-bacterial body wash, I can't recommend this product enough.

Good product. On my fifth bottle. Just don't buy the pump they sell with it. The pump sucks.More detail: I use this as a daily body wash and LOVE it. My teens use it as a face wash - keeps acne away. I use it about 3x a week as a facial wash and then follow it with a little of a gentle unscented moisturizer (alba unscented). I tried washing my hair with it and it left a film on my hair that made it difficult to brush and a little greasy looking - so I don't recommend it as a shampoo.

Yeah, it smells like tea tree oil when you apply but that doesn't stay on you. It's hard to gauge whether a product that uses tea tree oil in solution is actually effective because the skin is so resilient but I do use tea tree oil for skin applications normally so why not? I have used other Doc Woods products and have just stuck with this one. It just keeps me castille clean!

I really wasnt sure what to expect but this soap is amazing. The smell is a little earthy and the clean feeling is there. My skin is super dry and can get itchy because of it and body washes and bar soaps just never cut it. Spending tons of money on "moisturizing" washes with luxury lotions in it and bottles and bottles of dove and Aveeno never really helped. This stuff does wonders that the othera couldn't. Ive already recommended it to friends and family!

In general I like this soap. It has a pleasant scent and it doesn’t seem to dry out my skin. I bought it for the tea tree anti-fungal properties and I think this is helping with my issues. The reason for the three stars is that it does not suds up that well, maybe it’s the fact I have hard well water. I have to use twice what I normally would of different soaps. Other than that I would recommend this soap

Got this as a head to toe body wash. I have eczema, and tea tree with area helps a lot. I normally buy the other more popular brand, but decided to give this a try. This is okay...not used to having to add tea tree oil to it. Giving this to my sister, and going back to the other brand for now.

I don't really like the smell. It smells kind of like medicine, but it is very good for cleaning. It helps my skin issues. But you need a moisturizer after because it's very drying.

I was so disappointed with this product and would not reccommend it. Does not have an appealing smell, or lather up. Yes you are getting alot of product for your money, however it it watered down.
