with the smart functionality as a bonus
I bought this watch primarily for the waterproof feature, with the smart functionality as a bonus.I've been in the sea and swimming pool daily on holiday and occasionally since then at home and all has been good so far. If water sits on the screen though (eg in the shower) it can confuse the watch and force it to think you are intentionally switching modes.Screen is difficult to see in bright daylight. The step counter seems to work fine when you are out walking but misses steps when around the home, certainly for me, but I'm not much of an arm swinger. The phone app is average, Instructions are poor and it could be a lot better with a bit of a redesign. I've no idea what a unit of swimming or cycling is supposed to mean that it displays!Sleep mode is interesting but again I am not sure where it gets some of the calculations from! The watch looks good and I don't agree with others saying it looks cheap. It does however feel cheap, very light, easily scratched face and I doubt it would take much of an impact without shattering. I have been asked several times by untrained eyes if it is an Apple Watch.I haven't tried other functionality like camera control. The above seems pretty critical but there is a lot of functionality here and overall for the price it is not bad, but if you want something serious then you should pay for a branded watch in my opinion.

Good waterproof watch
The watch arrived well packaged in the box, it had a film to protect the screen from scratches, etc. It did arrive with a flat battery so required charging before use, which only takes a couple of hours via USB, so that was not an issue. Once charged it was easy to setup using the app, as you just input your personal data and the app does the rest. It shows your messages, messenger, social networking, etc notifications which is quite useful. The pedometer seems to be effective enough also. It is also definitely waterproof as I have left it on in the shower several times to no I'll effect. It did however lose a star as the Bluetooth connectivity notification on the watch is a little temperamental. Despite it being in range and connected via Bluetooth to my mobile it would still flash up occasionally as it wasn't. However this is not really the end of the world as it only falsely notifies me around once a day. All in all though it is a good fitness watch with the extras you want for a good price so I would generally recommend it.

Cannot work without being connected to a smartphone and keeps disconnecting itself.
Bought as a gift for someone and they complained that it wasn't always recording there walks. It keeps disconnecting itself from the smartphone and constantly buzz to inform you which gets annoying after a while (HTC M8). It cannot record your workout without being connected to your smartphone which is a negative when you can't keep your smartphone with you.Apart from that it last for about a week before needing a charge and the digital display is good.

Good for the money.
Seems like a very good product for the money. Instructions are a bit baffling but common sense prevails once you connect it to your phone. I will update this review once I've tried all the functions and tested it in swimming mode but I'm happy so far.Having now tested the swimming mode it seems a bit temperamental, it keeps dropping out of swimming mode due to the motion of water over the screen and it never counts the correct number of strokes. I will persevere for a while but I can tell it isn't the best design for swimming.

Good watch - only flaw is changing date format to UK.
I bought this tracker as I present for a friend. They really liked it except for one thing, the display on the watch shows the date in the US format of month/day, rather than the UK format of day/month. This is a fairly big issue over here and leads to confusion, and we could not find any way to change this.Aside from this flaw, the watch has performed as it says it should and the rest of the features are good. Would have got 5 stars if there was an obvious way to alter the date format.

Otherwise it's great and I would definitely recommend
I bought this because although I have a fitness tracker, none of them are waterproof so I wanted something I could use that would track my swimming as well. It isn't 100% accurate but none of them are and I would say that it's as accurate as any others I have, including my fitbit. The only thing that stops me giving 5 stars is that the screen is a bit hard to read outside. Otherwise it's great and I would definitely recommend, especially for the price.

Started sooo well, but !!!!
Disappointed after two days. Initially, worked fine paired to phone quickly. Used it in swim mode day 2 appeared to work well. Synced in sleep mode. Day 3 swim mode set. Had swim now it won't sync data. Have switched off phone and watch and switched back on at least 3 times. Would welcome any info to sort out but at present disappointed.still tells the time but!! If it improves I'll be back.

Does the Job, value for money!
Does the Job, value for money! I have bought this mainly for swimming. it does track the strokes but not very accurate but gives you calories burnt. have been using for past two weeks and I like it. It would have been awesome if it could track heart rates and give lap times...
