Very good grinder at this price range. The older one takes more than an hour to grind while this Butterfly grinder done in ~20 Mins. A value for money product.

I recently experienced a frustrating setback with my trusty grinder, as the stone grinding mechanism unexpectedly broke. It's safe to say that this was a disappointing turn of events, as my grinder had been an essential tool in my kitchen for years. In this review, I'd like to share my experience and thoughts on the matter.The grinder in question had served me well for an extended period, providing a consistent and reliable performance. I had grown accustomed to the fine texture and enhanced flavors it brought to my culinary endeavors. It was an integral part of my cooking routine, and I took great care in maintaining it.However, my grinder stone's unexpected breakage left me feeling somewhat bewildered and frustrated. The stone, which is vital for grinding herbs, spices, and other ingredients to perfection, had always been sturdy and dependable. This turn of events made me question its durability and longevity.The sudden malfunction was even more frustrating because I was in the middle of preparing a meal when it happened. I had to improvise with an alternative method, which certainly did not yield the same quality of results that I was used to.Upon closer inspection, I realized that the stone was made of a material that was supposed to be strong and durable. However, it had cracked along a line that I believe should have been reinforced better. The design seemed to be lacking in terms of longevity, which was especially disappointing given the initial investment I had made in the grinder.While I understand that all tools have a lifespan, I was hoping for more from my grinder. I had expected it to serve me for many more years before encountering any issues. The unexpected breakage made me question the overall build quality and design choices.In summary, my experience with a broken grinder stone was undoubtedly disappointing. I had grown accustomed to the consistency and quality it provided in my cooking, but the unexpected stone breakage left me with an unfavorable impression. I hope that the manufacturer can improve the stone's durability and design to prevent similar issues in the future. While my overall experience with the grinder had been positive until this point, this incident has certainly left a sour taste in my mouth.

Doesn't statfies our expectations, grainding quantity is not good enough.Thought it could be the replacement of the government (TN) grainder, but it doesn't.

I am editing my initial review as I initially gave a 4 star rating for the slight noise that it makes. But when I put rice in it, it was almost noiseless. Just loved this wet grinder. The batter turned out so fluffy & nice. Would definitely recommend investing in this compact wet grinder than using a mixer-grinder. Easy to clean & store. Have made dosa batter twice so far using different cereals & grains. The batter gets ready in the recommended 20 minutes. So much better as the stone base & wheels do not heat up the batter while grinding & this results in fluffy & tasty batter. The noise level is very low. Gave a 4 star so that the R & D may work on making it sound free. Still, the sound took me back to my childhood days of dosa batter being made by the elders in the family kitchen☺️
