If you like thoughtful engineering, buy this mount.
A very nice mount for an RV or, in my case, mounting on top of a James Baroud rooftop tent on my Jeep. I'm glad I didn't have to drill through the roof of that $3000 tent shell! The 3M VHB Tape grabbed onto the fiberglass very solidly and it will remain solid even when off-roading. As for use, the captive nuts the manufacturer used make all the difference! Good engineering! All the other mounts I looked at used nuts, bolts, and washers that would be fiddly to remove for tilting the panel and easily lost while camping. The stainless steel is a nice heavy gauge with a burr-free finish. The parts that mount to the panel required me to drill another hole to fit my Renology Eclipse Monocrystaline panel because I couldn't put them right on the end for my application. I'll have to tilt from the end of the panel. This was a very easy modification - just drilled a third hole between the two already there. I recommend the manufacturer consider drilling a third hole right between the two already there for future runs in order to fit the Renology Eclipse frame. The price seems a little steep, but it's a superior product, so they get 5 stars despite my minor quibbles.

Great Product. Worth the cost! - Watch AM Solar YouTube video for installation guidance
I bought this mount kit as it is a complete kit for one panel and I did not have time to make my own.I am glad I did! While they are pricey, they are worth it in my opinion when you think about obtaining suitable material, the labor (metal bending/shaping/drilling), tools, trips to hardware store for the bits and pieces, etc.The items in the kit are stainless steel and are well made. I especially like the design and the pressed in nuts on the clips. Make sure to order the correct size for your panels.I ordered the 40mm ones. My panel frames are a little over 1.5 inches. If not AM Solar panels, you will need to drill holes in your frames for the mounts. All of this is well explained in the AM Solar YouTube video on mounting solar panels.

Super Versatile Mounts - Highly Recommended
These mounts worked great to mount a solar panel on our boat. The mounting location had a sloping roof line and these mounts adjust perfectly to the angles. The mounts also allow for easy pivoting of the panel to enable cleaning or maintenance under the panel. They are expensive, but totally worth the price - great engineering.

Best solar panel tilt mounts on the market.
I purchased these to mount Renogy 100 watt panels on the curved roof of my travel trailer. You will need to drill four holes in the panel frame to mount these, but that is easy enough. The knobs are very easy to access when the panels are in the lowered position. Nuts that receive the knobs are welded in place, so you don't have to worry about losing them when raising the panels. These are more expensive than I think they should be, but I wasted more time and money trying to make my own tilt brackets out of aluminum trying to get around spending $90 on these.Save yourself time, frustration and ultimately money and just buy these. They are the best.

Great choice for my RV
I ordered these to mount three solar panels on the top of my RV. The metal is of high quality and the bolts are stainless. It is important to order the size which fits your panels. When mounting these brackets to the panels, I added strong adhesive to the mount as added insurance these would stay in place driving 70 mph down the highway. The screws are inadequate for holding the panels down to my ultralite RV. The roof is aluminum framed foam board covered by rubber. These screws are inadequate for securing to foam. They will work when anchoring to the aluminum but I used long screws and washers through the foam. This has been adequate. I then sealed the each mount with self leveling sealer. I am confident these will not leak or come off at high speed. It is also important that the panels not be mounted directly on the rubber so as excess heat can be dissipated.I selected these because I subsequently bought aluminum bars, drilled holes in each end and can now tip up my panels to 45 degrees, front to back or back to front.

Expensive, but worth it !
The 35mm version fit my 170 watt RichSolar panel great. Just had to drill 4 holes. Like being able to tilt the panel to clean under it. They are also very well made. I will be buying a second set when I get my second panel.

Stay away from these.
Received with fast shipping, but the standoff brackets were a huge disappointment. They came in 4 different sizes, none of which matched my 40mm/1.57" panel frame. They all seem like they would fit a 35mm panel, but with a ton of variance, and I ordered a 40mm kit to begin with. They arrived bent as well, but the size differential wasn't from the bends in the bracket.

Apprehensive but Sold!!!
I'm sure I could have made my own brackets somehow and saved money. Why more manufacturers are not making this style of bracket, as to not create this ridiculous monopoly is beyond me, but I have to say they made mounting my solar on my Airstream soooooooo much easier with the vhb tape and the clips and knobs. haveing a couple of height options turned out to be helpful, since mounting using the lowest holes kinda pinched my mc4 cables. Also nice is if your solar panels are light enough (100W renogy eclipse for example) you could unscrew one side, tilt and tighten the other. I tried this with 160 W Rich panels, it worked for a minute but they eventually fell, not enough friction/tension, they are over double the weight of the renogy
