Not sure about the picture quality yet, haven't checked it. It's been raining here.

Very disappointed after having the camera out there for a couple of months, at a back yard trail frequented by various wildlife. Several things went wrong: 1. The camera triggers without any visible movement, it filled up the memory card with empty frames. 2. The night vision didn't come on, and much of the night videos were just black screens. 3. Sound recording is often an issue with trail cams, including this one. 4. Although we did not have any rain, moisture was present on the inside of the battery compartment, so the seal did not function properly. 5. Video quality not great, even at higher resolution settings. Cannot recommend.

It is as advertised, a lot of bang for the buck! Read instructions carefully. I initially set up camera in economy mode whuch will not take night pics. Previous 5 star comments cover ot all. It’s sturdy and very functional. I've got it set up for to take up at the lower picture quality and additional settings to maintain battery life. Still good night time pics. Will see how long batteries last. Very impressive camera for the $$$! Update Nov 28, 2024. Camera stopped working 10 past eligible return date. Replaced batteries and dead as a hammer. I’ve contacted vendor to see what can be done. Will update once I receive support. Issue resolved. Outstanding service.

Takes great pictures

After reading other reviews I hoped for a decent product but instead this camera proved to be nothing more than a worthless plastic box.I inserted the provided batteries (the correct way) and tried to turn the camera on. Nothing. Took the batteries out to double check they were inserted the correct way. Nothing. Took the batteries out and tested them (full charge) and reinserted them. Nothing. After 4 times of taking the batteries out and reinserting them, the test screen finally came on.Next I formatted the provided SD card and took the camera outside and mounted it where I wanted it. Later on when it got dark I went out and turned the camera on and now it says there is no SD card. I made sure the SD card was inserted correctly, no SD card. Checked the micro SD card thats in the SD card. no SD card. I tried to format the SD card, no SD card.Im done messing with this thing, it is going back.

NOT WATERPROOF . THE FIRST TIME IT RAINED ON IT , IT DIED. I OPENED TO CHECK BATTERIES AND THERE WAS WATER INSIDE THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT. They did refund me my money so I'll give them 3 stars.

The camera does everything as it should. My only regret is that I didn't get one with Wi-Fi. But it has been very reliable, and even comes with batteries. I would recommend it.

This camera is easy to set up and use. I have it set to take a photo followed by a 10 sec video. Clear good recording. The only nit is that the internal screen is just average and the external power cover may not be the best to keep water out (but I don't use external power). The batteries seem to hold up well.
