I have 10 of these tank tops and love them! All purchased between Sept 2022 and July 2024 and still looking great. They're true to size and well made. Keep in mind the "slim fit" is form fitting, and I find this particularly so with these tanks compared to Amazon's slim fit short sleeve T-shirts. They're perfect for a clean, smart, or sexy look, and also great as an under garment for a layered look. The fabric is really nice, soft and stretchy, and they hold up well with washing. I usually wash with the rest of my clothing on the high temperature setting, then hang them up to dry. As for sheerness... a little bit with white or the super light pastels. I just wear a neutral colored bra with those. Otherwise, they aren't sheer at all. If you're looking for nice slim-fitting tank tops - give these a try!

I grabbed this Amazon Essentials cotton tank top to wear as a layering piece and it’s honestly a great little basic. The cotton is stretchy, soft and breathable, — super comfortable against the skin without feeling thin or cheap. It’s fitted but not skin-tight, so it works well under sweaters, button-downs, or just by itself on warm days. The straps stay put (no annoying slipping) and the length is just right — long enough to tuck in, but not awkwardly long if you leave it out. I’ve washed it a few times and it hasn’t shrunk or lost its shape, which is rare for budget-friendly basics like this. No weird seams, no scratchy tags, and the stitching feels solid. It’s not fancy or fashion-forward — but if you want a soft, comfy, everyday tank top that won’t break the bank, this one totally delivers. Definitely grabbing a couple more in other colors!

I love the natural fabric. As soon as I read cotton and modal I was ready to buy. 2 for $12.00 is a great buy but here’s the thing. Size large fit me but felt a little tight so I gave them to a friend who admired it and was going to buy for herself and then I ordered XL. These fit perfect but there’s a little gap under the arm pit which wasn’t there in the smaller size. I’m 5’2” 150lbs. Hope this helps. Love the colors!!

I bought a few 2-packs of tanks from Amazon recently, because I'm traveling to EU in August, and I'm trying to add some base layers to my capsule wardrobe (I'm going with one 35L bag). They do not roll up as small as some, but they're thin, soft, very stretchy/forgiving, and they are cotton/modal blend.I think the straps are kind of large, and but it's being worn under a tee or blouse, so it's fine.I didn't send back any of the packs I bought--I'll wear them through June and July to see how they hold up in the wash, but I'm thrilled with the lightweight fabric. I usually buy Duluth Trading cotton tanks, but they are super-heavyweight, and not great for packing light.

This is my third set I’ve ordered looking for a nice snug tank that you don’t have to tug down all day. This one is the absolute winner. They are soft and fit amazing they are 60% cotton and 40% modal.. The arm hole is a good size as is the neckline. The are the perfect thickness. The white one you can see thru a bit but that’s the same with all white shirts. You can wear these alone with a long necklace or as a layering piece. They didn’t have any funny smell to them either. I’d give them more stars if they were available. I’ve already ordered two more. They come in lots of colors too which is great. 10 out of 10.

These wash very well and pop out of the dryer without wrinkles. They are soft, comfortable, with the perfect amount of stretch to them. The fabric quality is great and the white is not see through. Wear them on their own or under another shirt. They are form fitting and a good length for tall people with a long torso. Happy with my purchase and will definitely buy more.

I purchased this in medium and I am 135 weight and 38B. I use as an under shirt for two of my blouses that I wear for work. Definitely love the softness and the stretchiness and will be buying more since I wear alot of underwear shirts with my blouse for work. Nice cotton material.

Didn't fit at all. I usually wear an XS or S in tops. Based on reviews, I sized up to a M because I didn't want them to cling to all my flab and show every bulge. They were still too tight, and with the larger size, the armholes exposed the entire sides of my bra. They were also long enough to cover my bum. I'm 5'5" tall and 115 lbs with a 32C bust for reference. These tanks are long enough for someone 6 feet tall. I could have taken them in a little bit to mitigate the bra issue and use them as incentive to stay on my journey to tone back up, but they REEK as if someone soaked them in fabric softener or Febreze. Just...NO. I am extremely sensitive to synthetic fragrances and immediately wanted to walk these out to the trash. I will take the time to return them because I don't want to lose the money I paid for them, but they will be out in the garage until I can make it to the store. I'm hugely disappointed because this is the only lime green tank top I have been able to find from any retailer. I may try to order another set just to see if they fit differently and don't stink.
