It was what I wanted...worked the way they said it would

I take this camping so I have a clothes line that goes up and comes down fast and easy. Love it.

I installed it on our covered patio and it worked well for 2 months and now the cord won’t retract or extend any more. It is just stuck. Cord us a little stretchy and when drying towels, it sags quite a bit. I thought it was a plastic coated braided wire or something more durable, but it seems to be just a nylon cord. Unfortunately, this broke after the 30 day return window expired and it looks like I am stuck with a non working product. If this malfunction is not normal, I would like an exchange, if it is common, it looks like I'll need to find a different more durable product. Hopefully Amazon will force the company to replace mine and it looks like several other reviewer's defective items.

I used it 2-3 times for now and it retracts well. So far no issue.

It worked well for 11 months and now the cord won’t retract. The 15 feet of clothesline that we use now just falls to the ground. Not cool. We only use this once every 2-3 weeks so this is definitely not a durable product.

Mother-in-law is happy with it.

I hung it, pulled it out halfway (25 feet or so) and now it won't retract OR pull out anymore. Conveniently that's how long I need it, but now I can't un-hang it easily, or pull it out any further. I'd love to exchange it if possible.
