Incredibly Delicious!!
I have loved cooking Asian dishes for decades, but only in the past few years have they become almost a regular part of our diet due to our trying to eat healthier, and this last year especially I have focused on preparing more Korean dishes as part of my enthusiasm with Kdramas, etc.. That's when I also started experimenting with different types and brands of soy sauces and relegating the standard "Kikkoman" soy sauce to making my beef jerky since I use so much of that in the recipe.The Sempio "Organic Soy Sauce" will be used for recipes where I won't be using a large quantity of soy sauce, but rather those recipes where the *quality* of the soy sauce will make a difference, and this is definitely quality soy sauce that is absolutely delicious and will be perfect for that!I was really impressed with Sempio's "Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce for Soup, Chosun" in how delicious it was in Galbitang (Korean Short Rib Soup) and Seogogi Mu Guk (Beef and Radish Soup) recipes, so I figured I would try their "Organic Soy Sauce". It's expensive, but it's organic, naturally brewed and a very savory soy sauce with a great aroma and umami taste that I know I'll enjoy using.I'm sure there may be other "artisan" soy sauces out of Japan perhaps better for use as dips with sushi, but as we eat far more cooked dishes than sushi, I know this soy sauce brewed by Sempio in South Korea will take a lot of the recipes we've fallen in love with to the "next level".
