On-Stage MC12-20XLR-HW Mic Cable (20', XLR-XLR)

I love Hot Wires stuff. Inexpensive, great quality, and durable.I know this is only a 3' cable, but 3' or 30', Hot Wires delivers the same value in cables.I use my sound equipment to reinforce sound at a small startup Church that doesn't have a building yet. That means setting things up and tearing it all down again at least once every week (twice if we have music practice). Been doing this for a year or so, and have re-soldered many a cable -- but not my Hot Wires cables. They really stand up to heavy use!

The cables are coated in the soft insulation versus the harder plastic/vinyl of some cables. I received exactly what you see in the picture. The construction seems okay and I expect them to last as long as any other XLR under normal use. Since I go through so many cables from wear and tear, the price is very important. I would buy more of these in the future.

This Microphone Cable appears to be well made and is priced competitively.

The XLR ends appear to be not quite up to specs as they do not attached or detach easily from our XLR sockets like ALL OTHER of our XLR cables do. You have to force them to click in and use almost excessive force to get them to disconnect. Perhaps THIS is the reason for the cheap price? IF you used them only for a one-time connection, perhaps they would be fine, but for live performance and regular connecting/disconnecting, they drive my AV people nuts.

It's difficult to manufacture a rotten XLR cable. I got this one to replace a 20' cable I was running from a mini-mixer to a studio mike sitting right above it. It connects well... and even includes a velcro cable-wrap to bind any excess cable-- nice feature, especially considering it's a 3' cable. It comes in the packaging shown in the photo. No complaints. Was pleased to find a 3' cable at a reasonable price.

Title claims Neutrik connectors, description claims "genuine Neutrik connectors". This is simply not true. The three I ordered arrived made with the lowest quality XLR made in China. The grey plastic contact plate is held in the black dip painted shell by a small cross-point screw. Inside it has the old style cable jacket metal grab wrapped 1/2 from each side that the cable jacket easily slips through after which the solder joints are under stress and quickly break. Neutrik never made an XLR connector in this style. This connector is copied from the 50+ year old Switchcraft AA series. Actual Neutrik connectors use a chuck style strain relief, the contact housing is not retained by a screw through the shell, the shell wouldn't have been dipped in (foamy) black liquid paint, and the shell spring catch would actually engage and latch.Based on the considerable yet untalented duplicity that went into the product at hand I would suggest avoiding anything made by "Hot Wires" and also avoid buying anything offered for sale by "On Stage".

I bought two of these cables based on the price and the fact that the cable ends pictured were of the Neutrik aluminum variety. The cables I received have the cheaper chrome-plated steel ends that wobble and lose connection after a few gigs. You get what you pay for I guess, but I was hoping for what was pictured

Buen articulo aun precio muy competitivo, fabricacion de calidad, buenos acabados, sin apenas ruidos, sus prestaciones estan por encima del precio que cuesta. Recomendable.

価格を考えると仕方ないと考えますが、XLRのマイク側の精度が極端に悪く、マイクを差し込むとグラグラして端子が断線しそうです。又、軸方向のガタつきも2㎜程あり改善した方がよいと考える。しかしながら、アンプ側は精度がよくシッカリ固定され問題は感じられない。ケーブルは充分な柔軟性が有り、やや細いと思うが短いせいか音圧の低下も感じさせない。固定して使用するのであれば問題ない。ハンドマイクとして使用するのであれば、他のケーブルを使用した方が良いと考える。

一緒に別のメーカーのマイクケーブルも購入したのですが、そちらは折りグセがなかなかとれず…こちらのケーブルはしなやかで、折りグセなどほとんどつきません。また、端子部分に銀色がほとんどなく黒で統一されているのがスタイリッシュです。おすすめです。

ケーブルが細いのがちょっと心配ですが、使用にはなんの問題もありません。安いから文句を言ったらいけませんが、Silk Road LM203-5 マイクケーブル XLRオス-メス 5メートルこちらの方が作りはしっかりしています。ただ、どちらもまだ使用６か月、１か月なので耐性はまだわかりません。初期使用感と音はどちらも問題はありません。

良い出来です。またこの価格なので予備にもっておくのも良いと思います。
