Helping Hand Leg Up - Black

I bought this for a friend who has recently had a hip replacement and it is far better quality than the more expensive one suggested by the hospital, most especially because it has the open foot loop, making it easier to use. It was good to see that the company provides two sizes of lifter; this is the shorter or, as I like to think of it, the 'just right' one.

Need to be able to push foot with leg so that it is straight and pull up and swing, such as pulling your leg into the bath when selected on a dashboard type seat, or pulling against gravity. Haven't used it for car.

Excellent piece of equipment. Bought for my mam as she found others too long (she's only 5'5") and they were also flimsy. This is a solid piece of kit good length for shorter people.Only reason not 5* is the packaging. It came in one of the biggest boxes I've ever seen and was full of packing paper with this delicately placed on top. People at work were laughing their heads off shen I un-packed it as they couldn't believe the box!!!

Brilliant so very simple to use .. I have one downstairs for my legs onto footstool and one upstairs to support in my getting into and out of bed ..

Works well but only needed it for about a week after hip replacement so not sure it's worth getting one but it really is a good one.

I chose this as it was the more expensive and have learned through experience that cheapest is not always best. The foot was very swollen and also leg affected by stroke so it had to be easy to use one handed. The foot loop is large (internal circumference measures 61cm) and stays open so item is easy to use and very light but still sturdy. Would definitely recommend especially if you have a large foot and struggle to get your foot onto the footplate of a wheelchair.

Bought for husband after a replacement knee operation. He has used it frequently. As his leg is improving he is using it less. So useful that I bought a second one for aged mother who finds it difficult getting into cars, this has also been successful.

Excellent to help lift legs into bed/car.. Easy to use and very cheaply priced. 5 star.
