Got the job done with these, awning hookup
I needed just a bit longer than 3" galvanized screws to hook up the awning. These lag bolts provided enough grip so that I can eliminate braces leaving room for shutters now.

Good screws for the price
These are good "stainless" screws for a good price. I think they are more stainless coated screws and as long as you don't mar the edges they should not rust but they are not complete stainless cause they are magnetic. However, for the price they are pretty good. If you were to buy full stainless you are going to pay twice as much so I think these are good enough for the price.

Good screws for a great price
Product Review: 5/16" x 1-1/2" Hex Head Lag Screws - 20 PcsI recently purchased the 5/16" x 1-1/2" Hex Head Lag Screws from VGBUY Store, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. These lag screws are made from 304 stainless steel, ensuring both durability and resistance to corrosion—perfect for various projects, whether you're mounting a TV or working on deck and boat repairs.Quality and Construction: The first thing that struck me was the excellent build quality. The 18-8 stainless steel construction means these screws are not only robust but also have a significant degree of rust resistance. This is particularly crucial for outdoor applications or areas that may face moisture. The hex head design allows for easy installation with a socket or wrench, providing a secure grip that I found very convenient during use.Performance: I tested the screws by mounting a heavy TV and reinforcing a section of my deck. They performed exceptionally well. I experienced no stripping or bending, even under considerable load, which gives me confidence in their strength and reliability for future projects. The threading is well-designed, enabling them to bite into wood securely without splitting it.Value for Money: One of the standout features of this product is the price. For 20 high-quality lag screws, the cost was surprisingly low, making it an incredible value for anyone in need of heavy-duty fasteners. Given their performance and quality, it’s hard to believe how affordable they are.User Recommendation: I wholeheartedly recommend the 5/16" x 1-1/2" Hex Head Lag Screws to anyone looking for reliable, solid lag bolts. Whether you’re a DIY enthusiast, a professional contractor, or simply tackling home repairs, these screws will not disappoint. They’ve proven themselves to be a go-to option for various applications, and I will certainly be purchasing more in the future. In conclusion, if you're in the market for heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant screws at a great price, look no further than these lag screws from VGBUY. They are truly a great find!

Really well made stainless steel screws
These VGBUY 1/4" x 3-1/2" Hex Head Lag Screws 16Pcs, 304 Stainless Steel 18-8 Lag Bolts are extremely well made and include 16 of them. For the price, they are a fantastic value as they are stainless steel and can be used in pressure treated out door applications. They have a hex head on them and are 1/4" in side. They would be good for holding down decking and other wood applications. They come in a plastic package which can be useful to hold them while not in use and to keep them contained. Overall I really like them and will use more for other outdoor applications!

Strong, stainless steel lag bolts
I like that these are stainless steel. For indoor uses they will look nice and for outdoor uses they will stand up to the weather (and still look nice). They are machined well, no rough edges. They come in their own case, which I like, but it's not that sturdy and is about a third larger than it needs to be.

NOT EXACTLY TEXTBOOK 304SS
Are these screws well-built? Absolutely. The finish is excellent, the threads are sharp and there is little doubt these will perform well in most applications. But as one other reviewer noted, these are not 100% non-magnetic, which means the required 18% chromium/8% nickel mix to qualify as full-tilt-boogie 304SS is not exactly to spec here. So in extreme environments, it is unknown how these will perform over time. But again, I believe these will perform well for most jobs, and at their price point (which may have something to do with the slight 304 fudging), they seem a good bargain.

Really heavy-duty and a good value, too
The big-box stores charge $2.79 each for these, so "out-of-the-box," these lag screws are well priced.Stainless offers superior corrosion resistance. A neodymium magnet is attracted to them with much less force than standard steel (I use this to judge all of my stainless hardware), so they meet this spec well.I wanted to add an additional fastener to the support for my new weather station. When I placed the station originally, I used 5/16" x 41/2" lag screws that were all I had available. We experience very strong winds at times, so the additional fastener will be tested. I'm positive it will work very well. I predrilled a hole for the new lag screw, added a washer and drove it in with an impact driver. I think it will outlast the fence!
