This works for plated or plateless lever.
It comes with a plate, but our handle was plateless. Thankfully there were instructions to convert to plateless. My men are good at figuring things out, so it all came together. Took about 2-3 hours. We had a kwickset lock. We did. It need to replace the deadbolt, just the lever handle. Everything matches. I would say the 4 stars is because it was an ordeal to make the shift to plateless and it would have been nice to know it ahead of time.

Easy installation. Came with great instructions and a template. Great quality. Crisp action, looks and works very well.

Great looking Handleset
The handleset looks great and works great as well. The only difficulty was while installing, it was a bit different from the standard handleset, but it is not too complicated. The end result looks great on the door. The lock is secure and the deadbolt also looks strong. The handle also turns smoothly. I had no trouble fitting it into the existing door since it was the standard size. So all in all a good purchase. I have had it for more than a month now, so will update it later if anything changes.

Arrived incomplete
Great look and feel but it arrived missing the interior handle?!? Replacement order arrived incomplete too. Such a bummer.
