It is now recommended that DURAMAX glow plugs be replaced every two years due to corrosion caused by the steel glow plug being in an aluminum cylinder head. This kit of 8 glow plugs provides a great value to change out all the glow plugs in your LML DURAMAX.Hope you have good luck getting your old ones out if they have been in there for a long time
