Sturdy and easy to assemble
Goes together pretty easily and looks good, a big improvement to having piles of CDs lying around. It's pretty heavy when empty, so I've screwed it back to the wall for safety. All I need now is something similar for all the vinyl......

Great CD storage and super fast delivery!
Ordered before midday and it arrived the next day! Great storage space for our ever expanding CD collection and pretty sturdy too. It needs a good amount of floor space to assemble and it really is a two person job, but it was pretty straightforward and easy to put together.

Shelves bend after short period
I like my music and prefer physical medium, but struggled to find suitable storage. This seemed to be a solution but due to poor quality shelves looks utterly cheap and unattractive. Fiddly build and poor quality fittings, would not recommend unless you want something cheap and short term.

Brilliant CD Unit
This is the second Baltimore CD unit that I've purchased. Easy to assemble and well made.

Colour.
Reasonably easy to assemble, everything fitted, instructions pretty good. Took half an hour. Move the carcass to the desired spot and then fit the shelves, as it's very heavy when they're all fitted! I would have liked a 'warmer' beech colour, it does not match my existing beech furniture very well. It's very pale.

Tricky assembly, otherwise good
This is a nice unit, it seems sturdy enough having just completed assembly but I can't yet comment on stability until I have a chance to get it filled with CDs.However, I started constructing this item straight after building three separate LP storage units from IKEA and I have to say that the latter was far more straightforward a job, despite IKEA's poor record for simple self-assembly. Despite having written instructions + illustrations compared to IKEA's illustrations it would have been very easy to make fatal errors in the construction because the wording is not sufficiently explicit or descriptive. Unlike the IKEA products dismantling and starting over would not be an option as many of the joints require wood glue (provided, though I stuck with a brand I know to be thoroughly reliable). In particular, sliding the back panels into place was extremely fiddly in most part because the channels on the side panel and top, bottom and central shelf panels did not meet fully at the corners. In the end standing the unit on its side and applying a little more brute force than I was happy with the job was done but not without the accompaniment of a number of oaths. So a bit sweary in the making but it came out OK in the end and I'm very happy with the finished item.
