This is exactly what i wanted. The beads size is just perfect for my hand fit. Beads size is almost the size of one dry chickpeas.

At least the beads on these malas are 0.9 mm or close to 0.9 mm. In the last two years, I purchased seven of these malas. The bead size come as advertised, which seems to be rare from mala sellers on Amazon. So kudos for that. Some beads were below the threshold and measured at 0.7 mm, but I could live with a few short beads. One of the seven malas that I purchased had only 107 beads. Weak. So, I would count each mala as soon as you get it. The malas were functional for japa (prayer). Most of the beads and spacing were 'uniform' in size, but a few beads were lopsided, unevenly spaced, and had rough edges, etc. So, if you want to give these as a gift are want to wear them for 'decoration' then you might consider a different mala. But, if you want these just to do japa (prayer), then these malas are acceptable and are of reasonable value for the price.

The beads where painted over and I didn't appreciate that. Something like this should be authentic so they can work properly. I did a light workout and the color or die blood out into my shirt and I was shocked and I did not appreciate that because I work hard for my money so when I buy something I wanted to be authentic so I don't have to keep wasting money. I don't know normally leave customer reviews but for the sake of authenticity these reviews have to be done to keep people on their toes so they don't rob people point blank.

It is very attractive, I purchased it for a friend.

Quality control may have skipped this one. It has 107 + 1 (the guru bead) beads. It was advertised to have 108 + 1 beads. A mala with 108 + 1 beads has a spiritual significance. All I have is a string of beads, not a mala, and not as advertised.

Good product but I would prefer they stop coloring these beads with cheap dyes that seep out. A wet hand or a dunk in the water will bring so much red coloring out. Natural is always best. The beads are ok otherwise and would have been even better and healthier without the mystery dye coloring.

My shirts turned red because this is leaking colour. I suspect that it is fake.
