If any pressure is applied to the head, the razor will stop. The base is of poor quality, but after 3 shaves the blades seem okay (so far). I was just about to request a return & refund, but I used my original base with the new blades, and am now able to apply some pressure to my face.It has a funky smell, but after one wash, it dissipated. Agree with previous review. Not worth what you get.The next replacement will be OEM for me. Clearly, you get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for. This item is cheap in price compared to others. Unfortunately, its performance is aligns with its price. It cuts poorly and is tough on your skin. Better options are available.

Gerat knock off at less money than the original Norelco branded blades. Cut just as close as the original, fits perfectly and there are no issues.Save your money and buy this one.

I have purchased this replacement razor about a year ago and it was fine. After a year, I just had to get a replacement head so that shaving wouldn't take so long and so I could get a closer shave. When I got this it did a worse job than my year old shaver did, so I've gone back to using that. The head is doesn't seal tightly so hairs fall out when using. The blades are complete crap and barely even cut the hair on your face. I don't know how they can get by with selling something as awful as this. Since I had purchased this replacement head a year ago I figured I'd be okay purchasing it again, even though all the reviews are so bad, not so. Buyers beware! This product doesn't work...at all.
