Quiet beast, easy to use
These guys are a bit bigger than we expected, but in a good way! I was worried my dogs would bump into and knock it over easy, but I was wrong! Nice and sturdy, and the mosquito catcher is very nice. Especially with these massive ones hurricane Florence brought with it. These are the best for situations like Florence brought, we bought 3 to help combat the mold growth from the water damage. They're quiet so they can still go in bedrooms at night but if you kick up the fan you can really start to purify a large room. Very easy to operate, plug it in and just push the button on what you want to use. Filters are easy to remove and replace as well. All around we are very happy with our purchases, so even if you're not dealing with a natural disaster I highly recommend these purifiers. I've noticed a difference since we've plugged them in, my allergies aren't as bad and my guy isn't snoring at night anymore. So even after we're done cleaning up from the hurricane, 1 of these is staying in our bedroom and another is staying in the livingroom. 3rd will be kept for emergencies like this. Thank you Sancusto! So glad I found these!

Noise and looks
Came in on time . I got 2 and used one in the basement. Huge difference in air quality . Product is well made and elegant looking. Very quiet at night at #2 speed. Be sure to remove the plastic that covers the filter inside the unit. Don’t just turn it on after removing from the box .

Cleans air pretty quickly
We use a cast iron skillet, so our house fills with smoke more often than I'd like to admit. (Read: we keep the heat too high) this does a great job keeping the air clean while cooking. You used to be able to smell dinner well into the night, now you have just an hour or so of the lingering, AND as a bonus, the smoke detector doesn't go off every time we cook with the skillet anymore

Great Air Purifier for Bedrooms
We have air purifiers throughout our home, some of which I have paid $400+ for. I take the air quality in my home seriously and there isn't an area of my home that doesn't have an air purifier in it. The model in one of our bedrooms had broken and I had been looking for another model to replace it. That particular bedroom isn't very large so I didn't really need one of those $400+ models for it, but there are two African Gray parrots in that room so I needed a unit that would be effective at clearing the dust out of the room, etc. The fact that this also gets rid of mosquitoes is a huge added plus (and yes, it does work). The controls are intuitive and easy to access. You can tell when the mosquito catcher is on as it turns on a light when it's activated. I like the fact that it also has an ionization feature. It does a great job of getting rid of odors and kills germs. It's everything I look for in an air purifier with a few added benefits. The only thing it seems to be missing is a carbon filter. All of my other units have one. This one does not, but it seems to be effective anyway. Definitely recommend if you're looking for an air purifier for a small to medium sized bedroom.

Third purifier in the hosue--works great!
As someone who values good air quality, this is our third air purifier in the house. For reasons we don't know, the house we now live in produces a lot of dust. I'll find a layer of dust on my desk only after a couple of weeks. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the ducts of the HVAC. Due to this fact, we've got so many air purifiers, especially in the rooms we sleep in. Unfortunately, I have no way to measure the air quality other than through non-scientific means. For example, my son coughs a lot when he sleeps where there's a lot of dust. When he sleeps with this purifier on, he doesn't cough nearly as much so I think it's helping a lot. He doesn't stop coughing all together but it definitely helps. The purifier looks attractive and it has 4 speeds and it's got a UV feature like many other purifiers. It has a weird mosquito catching feature that I haven't used considering there are absolutely no mosquitoes where I live (near Seattle).I'm giving the purifier 4 stars because 1) it works great and does what it advertises and 2) it performs around the same as my other HEPA filter. Works great but nothing special (other than the mosquito catcher) from what I can tell.

Good looking and seems to do the job
I've been using this for a couple of weeks now, in our basement where we smoke. The unit is very attractive, tall slim and black, with a nice control panel on top, featuring blue LED's which indicate how you've got the controls set. There are 4 fan settings: 1 is very quiet but doesn't move much air - but this would be good for a bedroom or other small room where silence is most important. Setting two is what I normally have it on, the sound is fairly unobtrusive and it seems to be moving a decent amount of air. Setting 3 is quite noticeable as far as noise, but of course it does a much faster job. Setting 4 is loud and would be most useful for cleaning some really dirty air before turning it back down to a normal setting.I haven't used the mosquito catcher - I find it an odd feature and don't have any use for it (though it does make the purple light under the top come on, which is kind of cool looking). As far as the "ion" feature, I've had ion air purifiers before and they made the room smell like a fresh rain shower, which was very pleasant. I don't notice any such fragrance from this one though. The "UV" feature apparently sterilizes the air, ridding it of bacteria and spores. This would be very useful for someone with allergies I imagine.I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I feel it doesn't move as much air as my circular Honeywell air cleaner. That one has a filter like the old circular air filters they had in cars, and it seems to be more efficient as it draws in air from all directions instead of just one. Other than that though, this is a very attractive HEPA filter and seems to work pretty well.
