With the Switch 2 already on the larger side, I wanted a slim case to use when traveling. I had a hard time finding a case that fit the bill (tried 4-5 different cases). Many have a large compartment on the top that fit joycons and cables, adding excess bulk. Some of the slimmer cases didn’t fit the Switch 2 very well and I was worried the buttons would be pressed in the case. The tomtoc case has a super hard shell so when I pack it I won’t have to worry about anything getting damaged. (As a bonus, I waited for this color to be in stock and it’s so pretty! The grey zipper, strap and silver hardware just look amazing.) Zippers are sturdy and move smoothly. The Switch 2 fits snugly in the case yet here is room around all the buttons so they won’t be damaged or pressed when inside the case. There’s a small pad that helps keep the Switch 2 in place which I thought was odd at first but think it’s to help ensure that the shoulder buttons are not going to bump or be pressed while in the case. The fabric that touches the screen has a soft velvety feel and shouldn’t scratch the screen. It’s also a bit padded for some extra protection. There’s space from 12 games which is more than enough for me when I travel. Another nice detail is that the strap is convertible. You can unhook if you prefer a wrist strap or maybe want to connect it to another bag or strap for some extra security.

Got this and a few other Switch 2 hard shell cases and this one is easily the best.Super thin and sturdy. This thing has ZERO flex when squeezing where the buttons and sticks are, while with others I was still able to get the buttons to click through the case.Soft velvety inside that's made with better materials than the $40 official switch 2 case from nintendo.Plus I love the little Mario colored logo on the front.10/10 would recommend to anyone again

Exactly what I was hoping for in a simple carrying case. The Switch 2 feels secure and protected, there’s space for a few game cartridges, plus the exterior looks clean and fun at the same time.

Absolutely loving my new Switch 2 case. It’s perfect and well worth the wait. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a sleek hard shell that’s big enough for only the Switch itself and a few games. Nothing else.

I bought a bunch of Switch 2 cases pre launch so you don’t have to. This case is probably the best out there with a couple of annoying flaws.Main positives: The case provides good protection in a slim form factor and prevents button presses. Main Flaw: The zippers are TERRIBLE. Like TERRIBLE. They are loud, get stuck all the time. They’re just terrible.One pretty cool design decision is the little cushion inside the case that runs along the system’s vents. You lift it and place the Switch in the case, and the cushion holds the system in place. This makes it super easy to pull the system out, but more importantly and prevents movement and incidental button clicks. Good design decision there.I’m only deducting one star for the zippers because otherwise it’s a very good case and your best option at launch.

I purchased the black version and it is extremely well made. I also purchased the RDS deluxe case for the Switch 2 and while I like it too; the Tomtoc case is superior with fit and finish. I would buy another and recommend without reservation.
