The media could not be loaded.  Had these for about 6 months and one bulb refused to obey the usual commands.Upon examination I found that the bulb rattled! Something had come loose rendering the bulb useless.Of course it’s way passed the time when I can return it.Hopefully just a glitch.Refused the star rating from 5 to 4I’ve added 11 of these to my home in the last couple of weeks and all of them were easy to set up and link to my Alexas . I can now turn the lights on/off, dim, and change color with voice commands; either individually or in groups.Well pleased. Would recommendAs you can see from the video there are occasions when Alexa doesn’t recognize the command, user error I think.Now I want to see if/how I can get them to sync to music in some way.

These bulbs were easy to set up and connect. The problem, as I've had with similar bulbs from other brands, is the color options with Alexa - the red LED is too weak and the white LED isn't used at all in color mode so all colors are handled by the RGB LEDs only, including any pale color.Tell Alexa to turn them yellow and they'll turn green. Orange is yellow-green. Light colors are all mostly blue-white. Even in the smart life app the bulbs are made for, the picture will show orange but the light will be yellow green. The bulbs should compensate for their own imbalances - it would only require a firmware update.Also Alexa doesn't have know any colors that are red-orange so there's no way to use voice control to set the bulbs to yellow or orange at all.

These are the first smart bulbs I've ever used and I enjoy them. Setup is pretty simple - just screw then in, download the app, follow the simple pairing instructions and you now have full control of these lights.Great as mood lights. You know, like when your girlfriend changes the color to red when she's about to deprive you of food and water and put you back in the cage again. Or when I turn it blue to reflect my sad, broken soul.Must be comfortable without a physical controller, and be ok with using smartphone apps. But you can do neat things like remotely enable or disable the lights from anywhere using the app. Or set specific times to automatically enable or disable the lights.There are a lot of these bulbs on the market right now. It's worth looking at other options, but these are pretty solid. Just remember:- Think price for the quantity of bulbs. You might find alternative bundles with more bulbs around the same price that will do the exact same thing.- Must be comfortable with smartphones and keeping an application on it for lightbulb control.- Must remember to keep my cage clean or I get the hose.- If you're expecting fine color control, you're going to have to learn to be happy with basically two shades of each color.

Since the bulb is only operable at 2.6 GHz and not 5ghz, one must have a router that can emits both frequency, otherwise the bulbs won't work. Also, you must also connect your phone (that runs the Alexa app) to the same frequency for the bulbs to work. If you connect your phone via 5G, the bulbs won't recognize Alexa but would recognize the smartlife app which you must download separately. Although the manufacturer did state the bulbs frequency, the whole setup and operations could be a hassle and not as seemless as it should have been. The bulbs work fine for me but I downgraded the review because of the lack of information to diagnose these issues. This is not an issue with this brand but with bulbs of this type.

These work really well with the app and fairly well with Alexa. I grouped 3 together as 1 in the app so I can control all of them at once. The different scenes that you can set up are really nice too. The Alexa functionality was the main reason that I got it and she turns the lights on, off, and dims really well. The color changing options are best through the app and I like being able to change it from cool lights to warm lights very easily. Sometimes Alexa doesn't recognize the scenes that are set up it doesn't work as planned, but overall these are doing exactly what I wanted.

Had a few issues with connecting the lights but force stopping the app and reopening solved them. The white is very bright but as soon as you change to a color the light dims considerably. I have other color lights that are much brighter than this. Hoping a firmware update can correct this and allow the color feature to be brighter. I attached a picture and it looks bright but in real life the color is very dim and couldn't be used as a normal setting in the house.Update: Removing a star because the lights flicker sporadically for no reason. Tried resetting and still an issue. Will look for updates and if fixed will revise review.Update: Down to one star as the lights now lose connection with the network. My other brand lights still work. These can't be controlled by Alexa or the app unless I power them off and on. I don't recommend these lights at all. Nothing but issues.

I purchased a package of three bulbs and was very pleased with the first one I installed. The color and lumens can be adjusted to serve as a nice and bright reading light. Within an hour it began to sporadically blink once each time. It seemed to blink once every 30 minutes. I tried to time it to see if there was a pattern. But found that the time was not exactly 30 minutes and it was different every time. I gave it a week before I finally decided to replace it with a second light from that package. Same thing. I will not purchase theses again.
