Replacement 63 12 7189312 Adaptive Headlight Drive Control Unit Lighting Module - 2 Yrs Warranty

My car had an adaptive headlight malfunction with a communication fault, drivers side, stored in the FRM. I recently purchased the car and it appears the previous owner had replaced the entire drivers side headlight, but apparently re-used the old SMC, which was covered in corrosion. This SMC worked perfectly, though I had to remove the PCB from the provided housing and transplant into my housing. I did have to code the new SMC to the car using NCSExpert but it was an easy process.

I did not end up using this product although if I needed it I would have it was very well built very happy with it but I had to return it because it wasn't the issue it turned out it was the bulb I just didn't have it in right I know how can you screw up putting the bulb in the headlights I managed to find a way. Lol

For my vehicle, plug and play. Did not require clearing faults, coding, or programming. Simply turned car on and headlights moved for first time in years. Adaptive malfunction message no longer appears in check control messages. As of now this has exceeded my expectations.

My 2007 N54 e90 had the adaptive headlight error on the left side, and the OEM module board was corroded from water. This module did not fix the problem after swapping it in. I was unable to code it to the car or remove the fault error with Bimmergeeks ProTool.I bought the BMW OEM one and coded it to the car with Bimmergeeks ProTool and now both headlights steer and go up and down with no dash errors.Those of you who had success with it, that's good, but one star because the description says "plug and play".

Awesome product. I had an annoying headlight warning so bought this part. You have to take out the board from the new module and pop it into your old module housing. Headlight warning went away immediately

This product fixed my adaptive headlight issue on my 2007 bmw 335i. It was an easy fix, part was on the cheaper end but definitely still works. Arrived two days after ordering it. Highly recommend if you had the same issue that I did
