makes it easier to get in and out of my hot tub. non slip when wet.

This is for my mother to get in and out of the shower. It's big enough and stable, but it can be a bit slippery so make sure whoever is using it can hold onto something as they are getting out of the shower.

I bought this for my elderly mother who was having difficulties stepping over the threshold of her shower. Initially I was worried about her safety when using this product as the rubber feet are quite hard and shiny and slide on her hard bathroom floor. That said I was able to reduce the sliding by gently filing the rubber pads to give them a better grip. The only one criticism she has is that the four white circular inserts on the top keep falling out whenever she picks the step up. Also the instructions making an alarming warning that the step should not be used when wet!!! Um hello.., what else would she be when stepping out of the shower????

I already had a double step but was finding my bath lift chair too difficult as I cannot lift my legs over the taps, and suddenly realised if I had a third step in the bath I might just manage to get in clear of the taps - it worked. The one in the bath is on a non-slip mat and is easy to wipe clear of any soap and it perches on the bath lift seat all day. I lift it out once in and lean it on the outside of the bath until I need to get out again. Much safer now.

So useful only draw back is that if the step gets wet it's a death trap. USE A TOWEL OVER THE STEP.

I wanted a step as I have a raised loo seat but being 5ft my legs don't reach the ground! This step works just great, however the plastic feet still slide on my wood floor so will replace with rubber.

I have ordered this for my 82 year old mother in law as she has a corner shower and because the bathroom floor is concrete she has to have a high shower tray this was ok 10 years ago but now she is a bit frail and the half step is excellent .and as a tip if you use a walking stick .purchase a good quality sucker sticker hook and stick it on the outside of the shower enclosure so you can grab your walking stick and use the half step and walking stick together ..my mother in law was leaning out of the shower to grab the sink ! she could have fallen as she has a replacement knee as well as a bad back .the half step has made her life a lot easier and getting in and out of the shower is now a lot safer and easier ..well worth it AND you can stack them if you need to ..

Economical step to aid toilet use for small stature people, or step up to higher shower. Also helps elderly disabled get on and off bed with the sturdy step.
